Nah....I saw an ad the other day on Youtube....they promoted the show as "Yeh Kahaani hai Mahanayak Arjun ke"😆😆 It's not exactly Mahabharat, it's Mahabharat from Arjun's pov. Like they did Siya Ke Ram from Ramayan. It's SP's take on Mahabharat where Arjun is the central hero. If Shaheer was popular back then, maybe that's why they casted him in the first place.

But how was he popular back then? 🤔 As far as I know MB & KRPKAB are his breakthrough shows & KRPKAB happened after MB.

He gained popularity because if navya with same production house. Though i don't think star bharat is from arjun s pov yes they did promoted him intially a lot but o don't think this arjuna was able to live up to the expectation so later they shifted to all pandavas and specially to Govind anf panchali (thankfully 😆)

The only two characters who stood out were govind and panchali but then they are standouts for me even in the epic . Anyways the point is. pooja saurabh did steal the show in this Mahabharata

Other noteworthy actors being praneet bhatt (shakuni). Rohit bhardwaj ( yudhishtra) aham sharma. And anoop (dritrashtra)

Drapaudi Swamyvaar s dekho tabhi the focus shifted from stararjuna to other actors

Yeah actually there are promos for satyavati drapaudi krishna duryodhan and shakuni too.

Keeping acting aside.... I find the actors playing Arjun (i.e., Shaheer 😆), Krishna (SRJ 😳) , Nakul (don't know his real name) & Pandu (real name unknown) very handsome 😳 They are very pleasant to look at 😛

I don't like Shakuni though. I know....I am perhaps the odd one out 😆 But he looks a bit too caricaturish to me. But lookwise, he fits Shakuni like a gloves 😃
