Sorry yaar😆. I have been battling this perpetual victimhood attitude for such a long time now, its almost become a reflex. I don't think she was. I think she was a woman who did exactly what she wanted to do even when people around her thought they were pulling the strings and that includes the Pandavas😈😆

Yup. Miss the Patiyogita days.

Btw, I have a theory about Bheem's love for her. I happened to read the bit about Pandavas' childhood days. Read this -

..Whenever they were engaged in play with the sons of Dhritarashtra, their superiority of strength became marked. In speed, in striking the objects aimed at, in consuming articles of food, and scattering dust, Bhimasena beat all the sons of Dhritarashtra. The son of the Wind-god pulled them by the hair and made them fight with one another, laughing all the while. And Vrikodara easily defeated those hundred and one children of great energy as if they were one instead of being a hundred and one. The second Pandava used to seize them by the hair, and throwing them down, to drag them along the earth. By this, some had their knees broken, some their heads, and some their shoulders. That youth, sometimes holding ten of them, drowned them in water, till they were nearly dead.." http://www.sacred-texts.com/hin/m01/m01129.htm

I think Arya Bheem was acting out of guilt. He must recognized payback in what Dushy did to Panchali. It could not have been easy to live with the thought that Panchali received the punishment for his misdeeds. And don't we see Bheem's attraction starting only after DS?

Mbh offers less content in terms of mileage regarding Arjun's love towards Draupadi.Whatever is given will establish the fact in a suggestive manner .Vedavyasa, the master poet embelishes the epic with such expertise that it instantly pleases the heart. One such simple conversation between Draupadiand Arjun adds spice to the kind of equation they share with each other. When kichak a was killed and Bheema saves Drau from upakichakas Draupadi visits Brihannala who anxiously asks her about the way she escaped the scare of kichaka.Draupadi taunts him .How can you who happily spends time with girls understand my state. Arjun replies we lived together. But nobody can understand the pain one goes through. Na tu kenachidatyantam...Veditum shakyate nunam tena maam naavabudhyase.it is impossible to know the heart of another completely.Hence you are unable to understand my heart. You can not feel my pain at all.Brihannala is experiencing much pain and being innocent you can not understand. Vedvyas just said this much But it conveys so much.We readily blame Arjun for not responding when Draupadi is in danger,But we never ever think why he can not kill Kichak which of course is child play for him.Even if he somehow fetches his Gandiv,The sound itself will reveal Arjun's identity. It causes danger to all of them if his identity is revealed.Surely one who can fight the whole kauravas army with stalwarts like Bheeshma, karna,Drona among them and win ,Killing kichak is not at all a task.So those who can feel his pain for not saving Draupadi ,well and good.Others who feel he is indifferent, irresponsible towards Draupadi,Ab aadat hogaya aisi baate sunneki.

I'm sure Krishn conveyed it to Draupadi, given that he knew her deepest heart desires; and given that he was the conveyor of Arjun's truest feelings.

Draupadi used to perform severe penance daily, as she prayed the perfect role of inspiration at Kurukshetra.
So I assumed she would be physically present in their camp. I'm sure her men wanted & needed her to put the traditional 'tilak' on their forehead on all 18 days.
[P.S- I read an article as regards tilak acting as acupressure, since it goads into action the pineal gland. In fact, the position of tilak is exactly where Shiva's 3rd eye resides. I don't know the true rationale behind it, but our ancestors did have a terrific grasp on anatomy, mysticism and soul.]
She wasn't just a woman - she was presence, urja, Shakti. So isn't it possible she was actually stationed within their army camp?

Yes .Tilak got that effect as per our ancient sastras,It was given at various places.I would definitely try To quote them here,Actually men used to wear tilak without fail.I agree with you and firmly believe in Drau's presence in the army camp.

Lovely posts everyone..!!
Reading these can make anyone's morning more beautiful..

I was feeling the mutual love story of ArDi was always looked upon as a great mystery since ages with many regarding Arjun as hearless & Drau as being too haughty..
However the ⭐️Bharat changed that...

Somewhere now with these discussions & explanations of subtle hints - somewhere the mystery finds its answers.. plus it just feels right that they have to be CONNECTED!

I think this is how I will refer to ArDi couple - that they are connected by fate, stars, thoughts, God himself !

The third angle in the three Krishna 's trioka is Krishna,As we observed Arjun and Draupadi's emotions towards each other,as per the Epic,But the sakha who shared great friendship with both of them what are his feelings towards the polyandrous marriage of Pandavas with Draupadi?Did he at any place influence the equation of two of his beloved friends? There are so many fiction s and serials which project him as one who is in favour of such marriage.Star Bharat of course kept him away from this.He converses with Draupadi after the decision was made.so what did Vedvyas say in this matter?let us study the original.

Krishnoahamiti nipidya padau, yudhishtirasya,,,,,,,,Krishna touched the feet of Yudhishtira saying"I am krishna".Balarama also did the same. Then Yudhishtir asked How did you know us to be here as we were in disguise. No one can overshadow the lustre of fire.Who else but the pandavas can exhibit such valour?" Then Krishna expressed his happiness for the escape of pandavas from lakshagriha, making the plan of sakuni fruitless...After that he left saying other kings may have doubts if they see him visit the pandavas...Only this much happened but nothing regarding the sharing of Draupadi was mentioned.Krishna neither approved of it nor negate it.He just did not meddle in any thing relating to polyondrous marriage. So it is not at all true if anyone thinks Krishna approved of Draupadi sharing. Even as the story progresses we never find any mention, any remark,or any statement of Krishna that supports or refutes the sharing of Draupadi.

In all probability Krishna knows the innermost feelings of both ,Arjun and Draupadi. In udyogaparva,When Sanjaya visits upaplavya,Krishna's speech throws light on the fact that how severe is the pain experienced by Arjun on account of humiliation of Draupadi at Dyut sabha. He says thus Parajitaste patayo na santi.Patim chanyam, bhamini tvam vrinishva...pratishtito hridaye phalgunasya. Krishna reminds karna's words to Draupadi. Now you have no husband at all, select some one else...These wordy darts entered Arjun's heart and piercing the tenderest parts of his body.Lord himself is asserting the pain of Arjun towards Draupadi's humiliation. He is the witness when Parth said Draupadi Talpa sansthe. It is said that admission and submission before the god purifies a person.Every religion unanimously agrees on this aspect. So Arjun did the same.Whatever guilt he has for not acting in time due to his loyalty for his Eldest,he did saranagati to Krishna and redeemed himself. But certainly Krishna will never betray his Parth. He is the witness of Parth's love for Panchali. The above citations surely justifies the fact.

Many people are of the opinion that Arjun loved Subhadra more.Krishna's dearest sister,Abhimanyu's mother and exclusively his own,Arjun's subhadra certainly impresses. But what did Ved Vyasa give us in support of the argument? Better to check out once.In terms of page space and importance Subhadra can not compete with Draupadi, who one of the main protagonists of the Epic,But still people's perception must be taken into account and search for answers to questions like...Did he confess his love for her more than once?did he miss her in Exile? Let us explore this aspect also as per the Epic.
