Rekha is Drau and Kannada actor Anant Nag is Arjun ; like AC D is married only to Y played by Raj babbar but the chemistry between Rekha and AN is very evident not the extra marital but just as 2 like minded people . I couldn't help stating the similarities

It's OK to disagree. We are all different people with distinctly different views of the epic and its characters, after all. I have said this before. I don't see them as divine or demon, just human. As such, their actions, in my view, are prompted by human passions, compassion and one in particular by dispassion.


Draupadi AT is where Drau reigns supreme. She is always right in this AT. That's the purpose after all. 😆 Drau didn't hesitate to point out her Patis mistakes; why should we?


As far as Arjun's womanizing is concerned, I don't think even Arjuns most ardent admirers would deny it. You know what they and I would also point out? They woman were willing. What's the harm in talking about it? 😕 And getting angry with Yudhi shows he had a lot of anger built up was with that comment about Drau

I am a huge Anant Nag fan...yep watched Kalyug too, that was a great movie ...Shyam Benegal did an awesome job both with the direction and with his casting...he could not have got a more powerful actress for Draupadi, albeit a Kalyug one.

The last scene in Kalyug where Rekha takes heart broken AN's head on her lap shows how much emotional sway she had on him much to the dismay of child like Subhadra of the movie :(
