Secondly why should we be considering Karna was cursed? Now that makes us to search for reasons for his death and hide the actual truth behind his death- he was killed because of no curse, he was killed because Pandavas needed the land.

THAT is because Jamy..we are not matured enough to accept his nirbaltha..that is we cannot accept his loss of memory..if it is because of curse..then we can seek a reason for it..if not then 😭..I was very happy after reading ur citation regarding his usage of brahmastra but after vrish's post again 😭 this is the reason

Can I say something?😆 read my reply to Vrish's post or want me to quote it again. I've quoted the reference saying Karna approached P.Rama for Brahmastra.
1. Where is the citation saying Karna approached Drona/Parashurama for Brahmashiras astra, not Brahmastra?
2. Can someone tell me when did Karna lose his memory while fighting? Reference needed strictly.

Beholding it, Karna, invoking the brahmastra, showered his shafts upon Dhananjaya, and once more made an effort to extricate his car. Partha also, by the aid of the brahmastra, poured arrowy downpours upon Karna. Baffling with his own weapon the weapon of his foe, the son of Pandu continued to strike him.

Beholding that shaft aimed by the Suta's son, O sire, the Pandavas, with cheerless hearts, gave themselves up to great sorrow. That shaft of keen point and endued with the effulgence of Sakra's thunder, sped from Karna's arms, fell upon Dhananjaya's chest and penetrated it like a mighty snake penetrating an ant-hill. That grinder of foes, viz., the high-souled Vibhatsu, thus deeply pierced in that encounter, began to reel. His grasp became loosened, at which his bow Gandiva dropped from his hand. He trembled like the prince of mountains in an earthquake. Availing himself of that opportunity, the mighty car-warrior Vrisha, desirous of extricating his car-wheel that had been swallowed up by the earth, jumped down from his vehicle. Seizing the wheel with his two arms he endeavoured to drag it up, but though possessed of great strength, he failed in his efforts, as destiny would have it. Meanwhile the diadem-decked and high-souled Arjuna, recovering his senses, took up a shaft, fatal as the rod of Death, and called anjalika. Then Vasudeva, addressing Partha, said, "Cut off with thy arrow the head of this enemy of thine, viz., Vrisha, before he succeeds in getting upon his car.

Indeed, O king, with that excellent Anjalika weapon inspired with mantras into a mighty weapon, the son of Indra cut off the head of Vaikartana in the afternoon. Thus cut off with that Anjalika, the trunk of Karna fell down on the earth. The head also of that commander of the (Kaurava) army, endued with splendour equal to that of the risen sun and resembling the meridian sun of autumn, fell down on the earth like the sun of bloody disc dropped down from the Asta hills.

SO according to KMG..no where they mentioned about the curse of parashuram..both karna and arjuna used Brahmastra..he did not forget anything....he was just killed when lifting the chariot..oh!! then the whole parashuram story may be an added on..including the insect bite..sorry Jamy curse my poor knowledge😆

Hey Sorry I should have quoted Vrish bro's post and I know bad writing 😆.. This has nothing to do with the debate on curse..

I just took Brahmashira to be the weapon instead of brahmastra.. felt this would have made more sense to whatever is already there in KMG on Karna's curse and the events that followed..

In section 90 of Karna parva., Karna uses the weapon to counter Arjun. And after sometime when the curses take their course, Karna forgets the memory of the brahamastra weapon. But soon after that., it is mentioned he fires brahmastra twice..

this really make no sense..

According to this text., I couldnot understand what was the moment of need when he should forget this weapon., because he regains himself quickly enough to fire the same weapon(if it is brahmastra).. now what is the point of this curse.. it makes even parashuram's curse very weak..

And., if you see this in my post., I'm considering brahmashira to be the weapon instead:

if Rama's weapon was Brahmashira.. At the time of need., though Karna could not recall brahmashira., he recovered himself quick enough to make the best of Brahmastra., and he was invincible again., and Krish had to make Arju kill him at the opportune moment very unfairly..

I'm of course not finding any reason for his death with the curse.. let's go by the book on curse, he was unable to recall brahmashira., so understaood the situation he was now in and he regained himself and thought of using brahmastra.. and the fight was back to normal..

And Karna was killed by Krish-Arju unfairly when he was removing the wheel because pandavas needed the land(the actual reason).. so., the curse had no point..

This was just my seeing of things with Brahmashira as parashuram's weapon.. not on the curse itself..
