Episode begins with Dhritrashta telling Sanjay that Duryodhan will get revenge for the death of his 99 sons. He tells Sanjay that the amount of pain the Pandavas have given to him, Duryodhan will multiply and give it back to them.
Dhrit remembers his anger when Gandhari blindfolded herself, but says he didn't understand her worth at that time. Dhrit is proud that Gandhari's life long penance will help him obtain victory. Dhrit tells Sanjay that having Gandhari as his wife is the one good thing in his unlucky life. Sanjay agrees with Dhrit, saying that Duryodhan is as strong as Hanuman now.
Dhrit says he will perform Duryodhan's Rajyabhishek as soon as he kills the Pandavas and obtains victory.
Dhrit says that Duryodhan left the city as Crown Prince but he will return as the Emperor.
Bhima is shown outside the Pandava camp, heating his mace and other weapons on an open fire. His mace becomes red hot but still Bhima holds on to it. Bhima looks up and speaks to the sons, fathers, friends and soldiers they have lost, saying that he is making his mace stronger (didn't catch the exact words he used here).
He says his mace will only be satisfied by drinking Duryodhan's blood. Draupadi arrives and tells Bhima she is certain of his victory. Bhima says his mace is strong enough to bring them victory, but Draupadi says the strength is not in weapons but in the hands that hold them. Draupadi reaches for the mace and it cools at her touch.
She makes Bhima sit down and a maid brings medicine for his hands. Draupadi applies the medicine to Bhima's palms and says that the strength of our hands are not in our arms but in our head.
She says strength comes from willpower and she cites the example of Krishna lifting the Govardhan mountain. Draupadi says this war has taken many sacrifices from us, but now it is time to end these sacrifices.
Draupadi requests Bhima to promise that tomorrow all their sacrifices will come to an end. Bhima tells Draupadi that her pain will only end once Duryodhan dies. He says this journey began in that evil dice hall but it will end in the battlefield.
He tells Draupadi that her life will begin anew as Hastianpur's Empress. He says that their sons will be the future of Hastinapur and once again Hastinapur will be ruled by dharma.
Bhima and Duryodhan are shown getting ready for the war. Duryodhan tells Shalya that he is making him Hastinapur's Senapati. Shalya laughs and tells Duryodhan that he is strange, sometimes you make me a charioteer and sometimes a Senapati. 😆
Shalya wonders why Duryodhan is giving him so much respect all of a sudden. Duryodhan tells him that this promotion isn't a reward it is a punishment, as his will be the first death of the day.
Duryodhan tells Shalya to go to the battlefield and obtain death via his nephews. Shalya reminds Duryodhan that death comes to everyone and his death is also waiting for him. Duryodhan laughs, saying his death will not be today. Today it will be the Pandavas who die, as he is unbeatable, and while he is alive nobody can touch Shakuni either.
Gandhari arrives in the tent and performs an aarti for Duryodhan. She blesses him with victory. Duryodhan tells her he will get revenge for his 99 brothers and kill the Pandavas, but even if he doesn't win he won't surrender.
Duryodhan reiterates his vow of not dying until he hears the news of the Pandavas deaths.
The Pandavas and Dhrishtadyumn meet Krishna outside their camp. Arjun says they are ready for war, Bhima says they are ready to win, and says their victory is definite today. Krishna asks how he has decided the outcome before the test has begun.
Bhima says today's test is easy as Duryodhan doesn't have many warriors left. Nakul says he will kill Shalya today and Bhima says Duryodhan is weak against him.
Krishna reminds Bhima that the warrior who believes his opponent is weak is the one who faces defeat. Krishna says we don't know what kind of strength the enemy will bring to the war.
The 18th day of the war begins. Duryodhan challenges Bhima to a duel. Bhima says you can watch your own death the way you saw your 99 brothers die. Bhima strikes Duryodhan on his chest and is thrown backwards on impact, but Duryodhan doesn't move an inch.
He laughs at Bhima, while Bhima is shocked. Bhima repeats the move but the same thing happens. Duryodhan tells Bhima that as his 99 brothers died their strength went to him. He tells Bhima that once again he will have to face 100 Kauravas. Bhima says even if there were 1000 he would kill them.
Duryodhan pushes Bhima away with his bare hands and the fight begins again. Bhima's blows do nothing to Duryodhan but his strikes bring Bhima to the ground.
Bhima strikes Duryodhan on his head but again nothing happens. Duryodhan laughs and keeps knocking Bhima to the ground.
Bhima is getting worried seeing Duryodhan's strength. Duryodhan tells the other Pandavas that until today Bhima had protected you whenever there was a crisis, but today I will kill him before your eyes. He says this while continuously beating Bhima.
Precap: Duryodhan has almost beaten Bhima unconscious. Krishna tells Arjun that they must distract Duryodhan and focus his attention somewhere else.
Krishna tells Arjun to challenge Shakuni to a duel. Shakuni is shown falling out of his chariot and Arjun walks towards him with a sword. Shakuni calls out for Duryodhan to save him.
