I think it meant that Karna pressed the whole earth while trying to remove the wheel, but Mrs Bhoomi decided to have a tug of war w/ him. And she had at least one curse working in favor of her.

I also had the same question.. when I said great minds think alike, I was talking about me and Watcher bringing the same topic at the same time..

what I read was clearly bringing up the hills rivers land etc.. not about pressing.. too much of poetic liberty 😆

Of course they don't have a strong case against Karna who has been repeatedly praised to sky by both Arjun and Krishna, but now they would show Karna's murder as the desperate need of the moment to save the world from destruction!!

Vrushali makes sense here, as would Vrishaketu as well. Adiratha & Radha may not have been around that long - makes me feel relieved for them: what did those poor souls do to have to witness the deaths of their sons & grandsons?

But Dury @ Karna's funeral - I don't want it. Dury died w/o getting to do it. If they do show it, I suspect that they may show Kunti revealing to Dury the promise she exacted from Karna, and then Dury condemning Karna as a traitor and disowning him. I'd much prefer that Dury die not knowing who Karna really was.

That they did from day 1 - showing Kunti all the time thinking about Karna. I used to be somewhat ambivalent about Kunti and even sympathize w/ her, but after this serial, I loathe her to my marrow.

Actually, she wasn't near the pyre - it was a mass cremation, and then the Pandavas did the ablutions for all their allies who had died - Drupada, Virata, Shikhandi, Dhristadyumna, Ghato, Abhi, and so on. At the end of it all, Kunti asked Yudhi to add Karna to the illustrious list.
