Why does Salya look so creepy?

I just realized today that the half bald guy is Salya. WHY does he look so damn creepy and evil? 😲 Wasn't he Madri's brother? He originally wanted to join the Pandavas but got tricked into supporting the Kauravas by Duryodhan, so why have the CVs made him so creepy and evil? And why is he half bald? Any story behind it or is it just another of the CVs' distortions?

Well hez not evil here too...was very diappointed to leave sides n kill uttar...hez not bad (for now) yaa i sgree his hairstyle makes him look very evil whivh hez not!!

His sister had been dead for some 50 years at least, if not much more. Even if he was as handsome as his sister while young, he could easily have grown ugly.

^^ Lol, I didn't exactly expect him to look handsome 😆 but normal at least, like the other Kings. This guy looks like a creepy rakshas, lol. He doesn't even look human.
