Time wins over everything, even God!
Silent tears dripped down his face.
He wished...wished to hug him when those arrows pierced through, when blood oozed out, when his heart ached more than the wounds in his beloved sister's son.
Abhimanyu
He was his nephew, but he loved him more than his own sons. Abhimanyu was his favourite.
The little baby even before entered the earth, learned from him, the patient listener who nods as he thought his sister, even before he was born, Abhimanyu knew everything.
Alert and intelligent was he.
And today he knew what the trick of fate yet he was helpless!!!
He will be there for everyone, yet he couldn't be there for his Abhimanyu!
He knew Abhimanyu smilingly with immense pride would have entered the chakravyu!
And like a great warrior have sacrificed his life.
A true martyr.
Death is inevitable but he wished, if only he could ease the pain.
Everyone calls him God, who eases the pain of all, to whom all pours down their troubles and feels light but today, God himself felt his heart was heavy, filled with grief and helplessness!
He thought of Subhadra! Abhimanyu was her sunshine, her joy, her happiness, her everything! Now what how will he ease her pain? How can he console her? What will ease her bruised heart? With heavy heart, the Lord himself closed his eyes!
His eyes could see Abhimanyu as was getting stabbed was asking his uncles to tell about his brave death to his father and mother!
Alas! The final blow!!!
Slowly Abhimanyu's eyes drooped down for an eternal sleep!
When pain pricks God, time stand still and today time stood still! Smiling as Abhimanyu took his last breath, he remembered his mamashri!!!
