Arjun's thoughts on Draupadi and Krishna from Krishna The God Who Lived As Man
"Yajnaseni, you analyse circumstances and personalities so clairvoyantly and articulate your thoughts just as efficiently...""It's the influence of sakha... whatever I am is the result of his infinite affection...""Only him?" there was a twinge of envy in Arjuna's sharp tone... "A result of only his infinite affection...? So what about us? Who are we, Yajnaseni? The husbands who failed to protect you at the Rajyasabha, who sent you on a twelve-year exile...?" Arjuna cast his eyes down!"You are also the one to present me with Indraprasth?" There was tenderness in Draupadi's voice. Very affectionately, she placed both her arms on Arjuna's bare chest. "Are you envious of sakha?" she asked looking him directly in the eye... There was so much warmth... compassion in her voice that Arjuna did not repent his query. But when Draupadi very gently, without causing the slightest hurt posed a counter question to Arjuna, his expression gave him away."Me? Can I ever be envious of sakha...? How can you even suggest so, Yajnaseni? He is my life... I breathe because he exists... If I eat it's because he is there... I'm alive because he lives... I'm his reflection, a part of his being..." Draupadi looked into Arjuna's eyes. He was speaking the truth..."Then what made you ask this question? Don't you know that all of us are what we are because of sakha...?""Yajnaseni, my beloved, I'm aware that all of us are alive today because of sakha... If he wasn't with us in the battle of Kurukshetra then perhaps... Of course I'm aware of it all and I understand you... him... but sometimes, when I witness your intense love for him I turn restless... It's as it is difficult to share you with my four brothers and now this...""If you cannot decipher between love and devotion, Parth, then who can...? To tell you the truth, Parth, love has ceased to exist for me in everything...This body and its various passions... this lifetime and the luxuries, the enjoyment and the entertainment. Do you believe that I'm really relishing all these emotions? No Parth no... all these are virtues inculcated into me by sakha... "...It's his emphasis on the duty of - samastama sweekar - whole-hearted acceptance under all circumstances, acceptance of all of humanity. He taught me how to stay bonded in relationships and yet remain detached... how to be in the midst of blooming prosperity but reside like a hermit. He enlightened us that co-existence of all these virtues, like wrath, love, sacrifice, fortune or goal is possible provided we submit to our circumstances. He has taught us to endure and survive, not to abjure and renounce. Ten Vyakten Bhunjithah has been sakha's prime lesson to all of us and I learned them when I attempted to sacrifice..." Draupadi laughed, "Or maybe endured and attempted to abjure!""Krishna... It feels as if Krishna is personally saying all this... It's so convincing...""It's the marvel of time... You feel so because my relationship with sakha is not different from a child attached to his mother's umbilical chord... a mother's heartbeats, her body movements, her various thought processes and expressions may be her own but a part of it travels to the child inside her... That's why the child reflects her temperament, her choices. It's the same way with me, Parth."
Arjun's thoughts on Draupadi and Krishna from Krishna The God Who Lived As Man
On the other hand, Draupadi was the daughter of fire...! On the battlefield when Bheem pulled out Dushasan's arm from the rest of his body and invited Draupadi to soak her hair in his flowing blood, she didn't hesitate for a moment...! She stretched out her palms and dampened her tresses with his gushing blood... emblazoned her forehead, cheeks, face and lips... right down to her breast into it... Her saree... her bustier was drenched in Dushasan's blood as Draupadi dabbed some more into her scalp as if dabbing oil...

No matter the topic I am pretty sure we will be discussing the blood shampoo for 1 week😆Do we want to talk 5 Drau based books? Not every one might have access. Or we could do other Draus, although I have only watched Roopa G and Pooja

In a male dominated world ppl cant digest if a lady is soo strong n fierce...most of d ppl making draupadi d cause of war are males (ive peronally noticed this) or females drooling over other characters n calling drau in turn characterless(yup ive noticed this too)
Seriously i dont see any point in linking any woman, not only draupadi to a man who abused her...infact ive heard ppl linking her to duri n dushy too(no comments on their IQ levals🤢)i dunno why this linking concept evn comes up, i just find it a way to supress her strenghth n mocking just for the entetainment of some crazy minded ppl...The show is ending n we may be heading for one of the last ATs of draupadi, this is where i wanna say draupadi may be long dead but is still critiqued fr hr actions, mistakes she did not commit. This attitude is a mirror of d condition of women in our country...
