Today's episode was great...

Aham Sharma is really a very promising actor...

SRJ was great as usual...

Very impressed with Indra Dev and also his make-up...

However, I find something really weird in the characterisation of Karna in this serial...

I find him somewat inconsistent...

On one hand he breaks down at the thought of killing his own little brother Arjun, who's like a mirror image...the next day, he promises to kill Arjun...y? To prove a point to the world...

If he's so attached to his "mirror image", then y pick that little brother to prove that point?

Secondly, Karna says that he'll prove to the world that talent is not confined within a certain caste.

But now that Karna knows his real caste, and knows that he's not a Sutaputra, doesn't it nullify the whole "proving a point" thing?

Even if he proves himself, what difference will it make about the "caste" factor?

After all he, himself is a Kshatriya...and not a Sutaputra...

So how will he prove a point for the lower caste people now?

And thirdly, in today's episode, Karna asks Indra Dev, "Is your son not capable enough?"

But he does not for once question Duryodhan, when he says "Your Kavach will protect me"

Like seriously?

Is his "friend" Duryodhan not capable enough to protect himself? That he needs his friend's Kavach...

Seriously, the Karna in this serial constantly challenges Arjun's prowess, but does not apply the same logic, when it comes to his friend Duryodhan, who is depending solely on someone else's prowess and Kavach...

amritat.. I do agree Karna's character to be a little inconsistent, but there is answer for the question..

Point 3: ⭐️Dury's inability is obvious 😆.. He himself is aware and does not shy to say.. In the swayamvar he declared it and made Karna a substitute..

Point 1: He killing Arjun is no more about breaking caste boundaries, but he made an exclusive promise to Dury that he will not spare Arjun's life.. that is why he cant promise Kunti..

Point 2: I am not sure if he told this after knowing his identity. I might have forgotten. If he said, that is a mess

point 1 breaking down and crying was ⭐️karna epic karna never did that but that was just for one scene and after that he got back to his epic karna form with kunti and today's episode

in any case even in his breakdown he does say that how is he supposed to love his enemies and hate is friend so may be ⭐️karna really got emotional and said all that then when he had time to process the truth understood pandavas are still enemies

point 2 :but he never got privileges of being a suryaputra or a kshatriya he still the same guy who struggled to find a place in kshatriya world hence the revelation doesn't chnage anything for him since he wasn't brought like a kshatriya he was brought up like a suta only

point 3 he is arjuna's competitor not Dury's hence he will challenge arjuna only since arjuna is the one he wants to defeat or prove that he is better than arjuna not dury

The first point is still justified...

But the second point is not, according to the serial...

And even though Durydhan is not the "Vishwa ke Sarvashreshth Dhanurdhari", he's still a great mace-fighter...😆

I'm not referring to the Karna in the epic...I'm talking about Karna in the serial...

He forgave Duryodhan, when he called him a Sutaputra, but retaliated so aggressively later for the similar comment made by Draupadi's at her Swamvar...

And he even equated Shastra-haran with a woman's Vastraharan...😕

It doesn't go by the image of Karna that this serial had built...

The CVs really are confused...

yes this i agree CV's oscillate a lot between ⭐️karna and epic's karna but in recent episodes i have felt pendulum is more towards epic's karna hope it remains like this for a while

My fav parts of the episode today were Krishna gyan:

1. Moh se sangharsh utpann hota hai aur sangharsh se vijay ki asha (basically attachment leads to conflict and conflict leads to expectation and as we know expectations are the root cause of all disappointments and reactive behaviors)

2. Saphalta keval dharma, dhairya aur saahas se milti hai, avsar se nahin

(hmm...I've to ponder more on this one. What about opportunity only knocks once? )

3. Message by CVs: In some matters, let kids figure out their own destiny. Don't interfere or try to make your child's life easier. Kids need to struggle and fight their own wars.

Questions for Cvs:

1. Why are they prolonging the K-K track so much? We barely got a Virat yudh or varna parva but K-K daan is being given prime space over almost 4 days. If they really wanted to showcase Aham's talent and Karna's valor, they could have focused more on his dilemms during the war because for me, that's where Karna's character really redeems himself (that's my interpretation of this complex character)

2. Why involve Arjun in this whole Indra-K-K track? Arjun should've had prominence in Virat and various other places. Why here?

completely agree

1)actually KK track has been extended not for karna but becuase they want to show pandavas emotional reaction to karna's KK daan.CV's could have easily replaced karna actually giving his KK and asking for shakti with krishna arjuna scenes today and KK daan story would have started yesterday and ended today but no CV's want to show emotional drama ,KaJu ,bromance hence unnecessarily extending i agree with you i have rather see other story line's than what CV's are planning to show

2)Completely agree here as well but CV's always do this they dont show arjuna's true glorious moments but come up with fictional scenes to replace them.In the epic pandavas were happy after karna donated his KK and karna was their prime enemy who had insulted their wife was involved in plots to kill them why should they feel sad for him.But no CV's cant understand this so we have ⭐️pandavs feeling bad for karna and healing him.Arjuna deserved screen space in other tracks than this one

I maybe biased, I think Hawt Daddy of Heaven did a fab job of justifying his prapanch... from his perspective he was making things equal between Karna and Arjuna by taking away the KK. Creating opportunity for blood to flow😆

Mamashree Shakuni should be thankful it is Krishna across the chess board and he has some ethics. Imagine Indradev plotting against Shakuni.

Indra to Shakuni : Mere bachche, you think you can do shadyantr?! How do you think I have maintained my king of Devata position for a few millenia?😆
