Mahabharat : Krishna reveals to Arjuna that he is the almighty!
In Star Plus' Mahabharat', Krishna explains to Arjuna the concept of karmyoga' and tells him that he should do his tasks without worrying about the consequences, about whether he would win or lose.
However when Arjuna take this to mean that one must give up everything and live the life of a hermit, Krishna warns him that it is this thought which leads to evil because only good people or people having the sattva guna can even think about giving up everything and becoming a hermit, leaving the world in the hands of the selfish and the evil. This is the reason behind the war as well because had Bheeshma Pitamah not given up on life as a normal man or had Pandu not given up the throne, everything would have been fine in the present times.
He informs Arjuna that he is the almighty and that he has been taken birth in various avatars through the ages and would continue to do so in the future to make sure that good wins over evil. He tells Arjuna that in order to get in touch with his soul and thus attain moksha which is the aim for every soul.
The upcoming episode will see Krishna showing Arjuna his all encompassing avatar. Will Arjun be able to understand the importance of Krishna's words of wisdom?
