Frappie, AFAIK, Brahmashira was more powerful than Brahmastra. During Mahabharat war, Brahmastra was used many times (ref: Drona parva) by both sides. However, as per my knowledge, Brahmashira was not used. It was only used after war, between Arjuna and Ashwathama. Btw, Brahmashira was said to be 4 times more powerful than Brahmastra.
