- Bheeshma is an eternal model of heroism..I began respecting his character when I read Bheeshma pratigya in my school textbook. But my respect wasn't that great then. I desired to know more about him only when I saw Mukesh Khanna as this greatest character in BRC Mahabharata. His flawless portrayal connected me to the character instantly. I Googled and read the Wikipedia article. I adore, I respect him because of his fate being similar to the burning sun, giving away all and desiring for nothing in return. He's the epitome of greatness, selflessness! Later I got to know that he's a Mahajana, one among the twelve highest authorities. My respect increased further, some may call it worship! Apart from being the greatest warrior, he was the noblest, the purest man.

2.Why dont you choose anyone as your fav actress..there are lots of female talents in our film industry..even,more than men I would say..why dont you like any of them!!

- I do like and appreciate the actresses. It's just that nobody is my particular favourite. Well, I may choose someone in the future.

- Mortals are destined to be flawed...but I do believe that he was 'almost' flawless.

Why you respect him so much in spite of those flaws?
- Because his qualities and other merits overshadow those. Also, he's one of the twelve highest authorities as per Srimad Bhagavatam, a Mahajana. SB also states that one must follow the Mahajanas fearlessly. "Mahajano yena gata sa pantha".
A special mention of his selfless and ever sacrificing nature. Noblest...purest!

Devavrata was destined to become Bheeshma a day. The sage's wrath sealed his sorrowful fate already. So I'd say that Bheeshma's fate was the kingdom's fate. Base of Mahabharata..indeed! Even Mukesh ji said that this oath wasn't just the base of the character but the entire Mahabharata.

The purity, the intensity was heartfelt. I loved everything..be it his booming manly baritone reflecting the character's heroism, or the one that made you feel Bheeshma's inner agony due to the burden he was carrying. I saw the character growing old before my eyes, he carried out the age transitions with extreme perfection. Expressions, body language, dialogue delivery...outstanding! Another remarkable thing was the respect, the devotion towards Bheeshma. He still lives the character, I feel that Bheeshma Dev landed back on this earth to play himself every time I see him. In fact, Bheeshma inspired him to remain a celibate. He's the best actor of BRC MB, doubtlessly! And the most handsome actor among them all...ofcourse! 😛
