Most effective weapons in Kurukshetra war?

In Mahabharat we have always seen bow n arrow and mace as most effective weapons

I wonder were other weapons like swords, spear and axe(Sahedev's weapon) that effective in Kurukshetra war?

Whats say?

Arrows and mace were most predominant, but other important weapons like you mentioned were sword, spear, axes.. etc😆 (Can't remember any others)

Sword was Nakula's weapon, and he slayed a few people, I think some of them were Karna's sons..

Spear was very effective and Yudhi killed Shalya with a spear on the 18th day.

Another weapon was Maya, magic. This was used greatly by Shakuni and Alambusha on the Kaurava side and by Ghatotkacha and his rakshasas on the Pandava side.

Other weapons like mace, spear etc were quite effective...but bow and arch mastered them all.
Oh! I didn't know that Shakuni used Maya too. Mayavi Mamashree! 😆

I didn't knew that Maya was a weapon too in Kurukshetra! Aur Mama shri ki maya thi!😆 I mean weapon😉
