Mahabharat - and the War is about to start...

Mahabharat on Star Plus, the epic saga of the greatest battle of all time has been getting high television ratings these days and gaining a lot of limelight. This Story of India is age old and has been always loved and appreciated across the world. Many makers have already attempted to tell the Story of Mahabharat, but this show offers a good platform for the young generation to understand and realize the essence of Mahabharat, especially since the show offers a good mix of various national and international versions of the Mahabharat.

With amazing performances and a rather unusual retelling of the tale, the show has garnered a lot of adulation and good reviews from audiences and critics. Their recent track of Draupadi Vastraharan got them their highest TRP and brought them to be the slot leader among all channels. And now to bring in more popularity, the makers are fast forwarding the story to its ultimate climax - the Battle of Kurukshetra itself. In spite of good reviews and ratings, show makers are planning to end the series by mid-July. Let's hope that show which so far has managed to surprise us with its unique presentation and awesome casting does justice to the final showdown between great warriors. The show which features actors like Pooja Sharma (Draupadi), Shaheer Sheikh (Arjun), Arpit Ranka (Duryodhana), Aham Sharma (Karna ), Arav Chowdhary(Bheeshma) and most loved, the adorable Saurabh Raj Jain (Lord Krishna) has managed to win hearts and gained many fans worldwide.

The recent promo of Mahabharat introduced another valiant warrior, Abhimanyu, played by Paras Arora. With an excellent team behind the scenes and talented cast onscreen, there is already a lot of excitement among the viewers. But the pace of the show has been worrying many, let's hope that they don't rush through it but do justice to the War sequence which is tehe main highlight of the story.

It will be indeed challenging for makers to portray on screen the ultimate battle for Justice but considering how well they have delivered till now, with magnanimous sets and costumes, we are hoping that it will be worth the wait and a treat to watch.
