people in india are god fearing people not god loving people

this leads to many supersitions too
we can say whats in.a name
but here people consult astrolgist before naming or renameing them self

both sita and draupadi were strong woman

but everyone want a son like ram the maryada puroshotm ram. sita ram are the couple every one identfy with it

many mothers advise their daughters before marriage be like sita always even if u r husband is ravan
like sita be pateint clam . hearing the name sita first that come to mind was good daughter good wife and a good mother.
every one want a wife like sita not drupadi
why
Drupadi was married to five men .
Even today people use it as taunt
not a prase
if a married woman talks or behaves friendly towards other men people say
u r not draupadi
Drupaudi was not that kind of woman
her only fault was she married men
drupadi was stronger than sita
sia was kidnapped but draupadi was humilated
here people fear misfortue may fall on them by naming theyr daughrts as draupadi

The fact hidden in the nature of their birth

Sita Mata was obtained from the earth and her nature was like that of the earth Purity,Life-Giving,Nurturing,Caring,Forgiving,Genorosity,Forbearance...

Draupadi Devi was born out of Fire. What kind of element fire is?Destruction,Anger,Heat,Purity.

Both of them have purity in common but earth is life-giving and the other is related to destruction. And we know Draupadi was born from the flames of Drupad's revenge.

Why people don't name their Daughters Draupadi?

Because no one will give birth and raise children for the sake of revenge.King Drupad was an abnormal case who did that way.Ofcourse this wasn't her fault.

We shouldn't compare Sita Mata and Devi Draupadi!

Sita Mata was a Yogeeshwari/Videhi she was completely detached person and was Parabrahmaswaroopini and is beyond worldly sufferings.

See Draupadi prayed Krishna and escaped from being insulted further. But Sita Devi is Jagatjanani she had the responsibility as a mother to correct her children when they sin.Hence, she tried to correct and show the right path even to the wicked. That's the Greatness of Divine Mother.Though Ravan didn't heed her words other demonesses in Ravan's Kingdom surrendered to Sita Mata and gained her mercy.

Though Mother Kali was fierce, she ends the wicked(on her own, with her own power) in order to save the universe and her children and remember that she destroys only the wicked forces but not her children. In that way she protects us.

We shouldn't compare Amba(Kashi Princess)/Draupadi(Paanchal Princess) with Sita/Kali Mata because we are aware of the fact that 'worldy characters are affected by common foibles of humanity'.

How can we compare 2 powerful women who faced different situations in different yugas. The common points in them is both possess ideal qualities and both are treated as Pativratas. I would like to share 1 example.

According to Valmiki Ramayan, when Ram, Sita and Laxman were about to leave for Aranya Vaas Kaikeyi brought ascetic garments. Ram & Lakshman immediately changed it. But Sita Devi who never wore such dresses desparately turned towards her husband and asked for help. He came there and explained it. Seeing this, King Dasarath infuriated on Kaikeyi and arranged all the garments and ornaments for his daughter in law for 14 years.

In Vyas Mahabharat, Kauravas made Pandavas desparate. Draupadi who came in dice hall initially stood behind her father in law Dhritarashtr. If Dhritarashtr firmly orders his son to stop, his son will never dare to do this. Bheeshm, Dronacharya and Vidur are not too desparate (as shown in serial) will immediately take action. The major problem had came from king.

Draupadi's marraige with Pandavas is dharm. (They had blessings of all elders at that time).

When Dhritarashtr tried to pacify Draupadi, She first asks to free Yudhishtir from Slavery. As a second boon, she asks to free remaining husbands to free along with their Ayudhas from slavery.

Because Dwapar yug is near to kaliyug and Duryodhan is Kalipurush, epic has shown how many turmoils he can bring.

Lord Shiva had given her boon that she will die as Sumangali, so she was the first to leave the world before Pandavas.

She was not impatient and keep on showing frustration on Pandavas. She was the one who explained how a woman should have ideal qualities to Satyabhama (In Aranyavaas).

no one wants "Draupadi" to be repeated and whatever it may be she is mainly remembered for only 2 things: marrying 5 men and the VH and obviously no one wants their Daughters to go through any of these events. BUT I know girls named KRISHNAA which is another name of Draupadi so yeah..

Draupadi was filled with hate and started the war for her personal motives?
Had the Chandal Choukdi not verbally humiliated her and strriped her naked in public, the war would not have happened?

Had they spared that woman, the war would not have happened?

Had she been left alone and Pandavas had returned from exile and demanded their kingdom only to get told that they can't have it back and they won't even get 5 bloody villages let alone a piece of land occupied by a needle, the war would not have happened?

The problem is not the woman's anger because she has all the right to be so when something so atrocious is done to her.

The bloody problem is Men's big fat ego's.

Duryodhana and Co. and their hunger ... hunger for revenge, hunger for Pandavas despair, hunger for more and more.
Greed and selfishness.

Always trying to declare their rights on thing which is not theirs. Always having their eyes set on other peoples possession and happiness.

Pandavas built their own kingdom. Duryodhana got to be the King of Hastinapur which he always wanted and for that he did everything, even trying to roast his cousins and Aunt alive.

But No! Once you have something, it is not enough! You cant be satisfied with it.
So he wanted more and when he got it, he wanted even more.

You cant clap with just one hand, can you?

If they had given the Pandavas those 5 bloody villages, there wouldn't have been a war.

But Men, especially men like the Chandal Chaukadi, they would always find a damn reason for war, women involved or not.

But I guess that it is a world where Victim Blaming is a phenomena that is taking over every part, every era.

Why would Draupadi be any different?

Draupadi was filled with Rage but only after filthy hands touched her body and abused her. Called her what not and justified why she desreved to be strriped naked.

Any self-respecting woman would demand that her tormentors be hanged.

Men start feuds and wars, involve women in between and then put all the blame on her.

After all, today Men and some women even claim that Sita had brought it upon herself.

The Arrogant Woman, who dared to "cross the line".

Sita was a wife and kept being so even after she was abducted, even after her husband made her give the proof of her purity, even after she was left. She was a goddess who brought destruction on the sinners.

Draupadi was a woman who was stripped off her title, honor, clothes and told Krishna that she did not have husbands, sons, brother or Father.

She raised her voice, questioned her elders and demanded for justice. She reminded her husbands of how they broke the marriage vows for their Dharma which made them so helpless that they had to sit and watch a woman getting stripped and abused.

She was no goddess, she was a woman like us and every woman today needs to be like her to survive in "this" world. We can worship Sita, a Goddess but we cant be like her because this world run by the male ego would eat us all up.

Its good to see people with the name Draupadi!👏

But they are used rarely.Anyway Kalyani is another name of Goddess Parvathi and Krishnaa is also used for Krishna's consort Rukmini like Ramaa for Rama's wife Sita and Shivaa for Parvathi.Krishna actually means one who attracts and another meaning one who gives knowledge. These meanings apply for the Supreme Being.😊

Sita devi was a divine woman, she was in Treta Yuga, the time where good still prevailed. She is like a model woman.
Where as Draupadi was more human, she was a part pf Kaliyug, she was an extremely strong woman, who rebelled against adharma, Darupadi was fierce and proud.

In Fiji I see elderly patients aged 60+ with name Dropati
or Drapadi and even Draupadi

it is phasing out

Sita is Lords Energy and Draupadi His dear devotee

So we really cannot compare Shakti and Bhakti

but acutually Bhakti captivates Lord Krishna who is Bhakta Vatsalya
or Damodar, bound with ropes of love by His pure devotee
