I always read this forum but dont get time to reply or post. But today I couldn't stop reading your post. Very well said 👏. You summed it all ! I feel really bad for Draupadi. Feels like that's the time i.e. Mahabharat when Men started mistreating Woman. And that's the time when all GOOD MEN kept quite while watching a women mistreated.

Thanks sum an. That's the tragedy- 5000 years and things have just gotten worse for women. Draupadi was the first Nirbhaya in our history but her whole life was a tapasya of agni pariksha

Dr M sent me this situation on Arjun-Draupadi. We can only hope this was true...I would like to believe so:
Draupadi, who had found the going rough, suddenly lost her balance and plummeted to the depths below. Her husbands continued ahead without stopping. Arjuna felt Bheema's anguish - he had loved her more than the other four brothers. The second Pandava inched closer to Yudhishthira, wanting to know from him why Draupadi, who had borne so much, had to be the first to die. But Arjuna knew that it was because in the innermost recesses of her heart, she had always loved him, Arjuna, more than the others. He had known it, but had chosen not to acknowledge her love for him in full and given his deepest devotion

to Subhadra. It was not a conscious decision, but Arjuna knew that he had done the right thing, for otherwise the Pandavas would have been torn apart by their forbidden love. But with Draupadi gone, he finally allowed himself to realise that he had loved her back in equal measure - always.

😭😭 == Ohhh we can only hope

the post is so beautifully written...and the most anguishing part of it all is Arjun Drau situation...I am not saying other situations in her life weren't traumatic but no matter how difficult the gng gets if u have love nothing seems impossible, biggest of miseries feel like a grain of salt coz u r walking with ur love, ur soul mate I strongly blv both Arjun and Drau knew they were soul mates, both knew the depth of their feelings for each other but duty, dharma forbade them to given in to their feelings, secretly, quietly, silently they kept on loving and yearning and longing and in the end she died coz of it and he finally allowed himself to accept the truth of his own feelings...what a sad, sad tragedy yaar...it breaks my heart...😭

Thanks FYH. Yes, I would like to believe that ArDi were the silent type of soul mates...of course we will never know the truth. Also, we don't know what romance meant in dwapar yug. But yes, she had a special relationship with him. Draupadi's life is very inspiring to women in this day and age also
