Looks like CVs are going all out to "protect" Dharmaraja during the dice game fiasco as much as possible - as per these rules created in ⭐️Bharat, he is "permitted" to stake his bros and Draupadi - of course, he will cite Kshatriya dharma as the reason for accepting the invitation in the first place

Draupadi will be THE target due to Shastraharan and a misunderstanding occurring over the daasi's comments - but how on earth can a daasi mock a yuvraj like that??? 😕

Vastraharan has been planned beforehand - as I suspected

In ⭐️Bharat, how much blame will finally come on the Pandavas themselves?

I have a question in all of this - As per the epic, didn't Draupadi herself consider Yudi as guilty since he staked her? If she could keep her hair open for Dushasana's blood, and if Bhim vowed to break Duri's thigh, and all other vows regarding Karna & Shakuni, why didn't any of the Pandavas vow to punish their jesht bratha for staking their wife?

Was it due to the fact that Yudi had an "adhikaar" on them (being their jesht bratha), that none of the Pandavas dared to take a vow against Yudi himself for staking Draupadi?

Yudhistir Looses All His Wealth In Chausar In ⭐️+bharat

In Star Plus Mahabharat Next Week, In Rajasuya yagya Shishupal further goes onto insult Bheeshma, all this while Krishna watches him..says nothing until Shishupal crosses the line & looses count of his mistakes he questions Draupadi & Krishna's relationship..Krishna's looses his cool..and cuts off Shishupal's head with his Sudarshan chakra.. Duryodhan rebels seeing this.. takes up his weapon & calls for a fight. As a punishment Draupadi suggests Yudhishtir that they take away his weapons. Pandavs take away Duryodhan Karn & Dusshasan's weapons.

In their own script, they have Sishupala insulting Duryodhan as a napunsak and Karna as a spineless sutaputra. So why should they take up cudgels & rebel against his killing? Just b'cos he insulted Draupadi as well?

Sishupala's 100th offense was challenging Krishna & the Pandavas to a battle, for which he was slain. Here, Duryodhan is doing the same thing - and hence the shastraharan 😆

An angry Duryodhan speedily walks out of the Mayasabha, he accidently falls into a water body..everyone start laughing in the sabha..while a daasi comments "Andhe ka putra andha hi hota hai kya?"..A furious duryodhan turns around looks back & sees Draupadi laughing on him..his anger rises..he leaves in a rage. Duryodhan comes back to Hastinapur & starts burning the palace & himself in his rage..until Dussahsan comes suggests they should go to Shakuni for help to take revenge.

So they had a dasi, instead of Draupadi, insult Dhritarashtra? Fine, but then how is Draupadi exactly whitewashed by laughing @ him? And where are Dushashan & Karna in all this?

Duryodhan stops Shakuni who is on his way to Gandhar tries to convince him..tells him that this time he doesn't want to just overthrow them.. Shakuni says they should squash their honor and self esteem by targeting Draupadi.Krishna hurts himself while flying the kite..Draupadi tears side of her duppatta and ties it on the wound.. Krishna tells Draupadi there are times when you think that everything is good and in your hands but just then time takes everything away from you..Krishna says no matter what he'll be with her always.

So they've borrowed this from BRC?

Arjun tell Subhadra how to break a chakravyuh..Subhadra falls asleep in the middle.

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Poor thing got bored from all the times Arjun would indulge in vyuha chats w/ her. Nonetheless, Arjun should have continued describing the whole process, talking directly to Abhimanyu 😆

Vidur reaches Indraprastha with the invitation Arjun asks him what would he advice personally, Vidur downright says they shouldn't go to the game, they should never trust Shakuni's evil mind.Despite Vidur's advice & everybody refusing the invitation. Yudhishtir accepts the invitation. Pandavas arrive at Hastinapur to a false welcome.

Sahdev gets bad intuitions as soon as they enter the dyut sabha, Arjun Convinces him saying Bheeshm will never let any bad happening to them. Bheeshma is worried, he doubts Shakuni's evil mind will keep quiet and decides to speak to Duryodhan. Duryodhan looks at Draupadi entering the sabha, and reveals his evil plan to disrobe her, Shakuni & Dusshasan shocked. Duryodhan reveals his evil plans of disrobing Draupadi, Shakuni is surprised at the idea.

So they'll show this as pre-planned, as opposed to heat of the moment decision-making? Why would Duryodhan tell Bheeshma about such a plan?

Also, Dushashan shocked @ this? 🤣 What are they now doing - a whitewash of Dushashan? 🤣

Bheeshma warns Duryodhan not to do anything inappropriate, Duryodhan nods & smiles innocently. Everyone arrive in the sabha. Game rules are laid out rule 1 no women to be present or allowed in the sabha except daasis, rule 2 both the sides should bet things equally important rule 3 since duryodhan doesn't own much property both sides will bet whatever or whoever they are proud of & have an right over. Yudhishtir agrees to all the rules unknown of the consequences.

So they'll give even greater significance when Draupadi is ordered to come - she'd automatically not be a queen, but a dasi when she comes in?

One thing we'll be spared - Kunti & Gandhari sitting side by side in the balcony and looking aghast @ the acts of Karna & Duryodhan respectively.

The game begins, Yudhishtir bets his whole wealth, Duryodhan bets whatever wealth he has earned on his own, Shakuni throws the magic dices. On the other hand Draupadi is getting restless in the women's chambers. Yudhishtir looses his wealth.

Is Draupadi getting arya Sahadev's poorvabhas? Wonder how that scores on the Patiyogita sweepstakes? 😆

what else could they do otherwise?? here is where kunti's master plan can be understood. being the common wife none of the brothers could go against the other esp not for her sake. thats why yudi cannot be allowed to abdicate the throne in the end , cause draupadi first wedded to yudi would have been obliged to go with him to the forest!!! thats also why i said that the other wives never posed a threat to her maharani status in indraprastha. she was the first wife of yudi so she would always have been the maharani. only her conjugal relations were timed yearly, but she would still be the wives of other brothers also and take care of their needs. thats why at any function she was always seen next to yudi. do we really know whose turn it was when yudi staked her?

This is ANOTHER question of mine as well.

Yes, the Pandavas could not take vows against Yudi (despite what he did) since he was the jesht bratha and all.

But does the epic explicitly state which Pandava was having his turn with Draupadi when she got staked and humiliated?

At least, THAT Pandava could've launched a strong protest or something against Yudi...or was even THAT not permitted?
And, IF it was Yudi himself who was having his turn with her when she got staked, then that makes the situation all the more worse...🤢

So the Vastraharan is Pre-planned by Duryodhan so its not Karna who will order this that much is clear. Lets see if he speaks anything in support or against this.
From this spoiler, Its look like Dury himself would be solely responsible for all this as even Shakuni and Dushy are shocked :D ... It is gonna be fun.

it IS indeed curious that Yudi staked his beloved queen.

It is said (in ANY translation and interpretation) that Yudi believed the tables would turn and that his winning streak would begin.
ALL his brothers did keep trying to stop him citing that there was no shame in withdrawal and that Kanha too had said there was no shame in being called ranchod because even he withdrew after trying to save his beloved Brij bhoomi from Jarasandh 17 times. However, Yudi was convinced he would eventually win.

It is also said that Dhri said Yudi was SWATANTRA and thus could NOT be stopped by any other king for he was capable of making his own decisions.

In vedic times, dice WAS considered a sacred ritual and NO king could turn it down just like they could not turn down a call to battle. It was part of the kshatriya dharma.

It is said that gambling was taken as luck and intelligence so Yudi for the FIRST time in his life did not consult Krishna for advice and so had no intelligence because that is what HE symobolized and Draupadi was not beside them so they had no luck. And it is said in some folklore that because D is the SHAKTI to Kanha's avatar, her humiliation meant destruction of the entire Kuru clan. She truned from Gauri the gentle goddess to Kali, and sought destruction.

It is also curious that Yudi staked Nakul and Sahadev before staking himself--did he consider them STEP brothers then? And is it to atone for this that he later asked Yama for Nakul back first??

Did Yudi know while staking DPadi that she was going to be stripped in public? Did he know that Karna the great maharathi, tragic hero, yada yada, whatever, was going to suggest this. I do NOT think so. Yudi believed in everyone's goodness to the extent that Bhim was exasperated by him many times as a result.

What is also curious is the need to absolve Karna of his misdeed. It was HE who called DPadi a wh**e. THAT cannot be absolved. It was HE who said even if she had been brought here NAKED that would not be shameful for she had no shame. THAT is when Duri gets this idea.

Yes, Yudi was wrong but the other brothers allowed Yudi to play on their behalf. No oen forced any of the others to accept the invitation and it was pride that stopped all fot hem from withdrawing or walking out. The exile they suffer is said to be punishment.

They ALL pay a price. Yudi for ruling a kingdowm with more widows and orphans than anywhere else. the other four by losing their sons. It is said that the experience in the forest makes Yudi a better human being.

Inherently, Yudi was a better human being than K and D-D and their other brother (and before the K fans jump at me; THIS is MY opinion). He had a greater right on throne than Duri did; it is said that Shakuni cheated through the game. Yudi is always filled with shame and guilt throughout his exile. It is said that Yudi used these years to clean up his fate. Travelling to holy spots and listening to sacred stories is said to apaprently reduce karmic debt.

Anyways, to each their own.

If we sat down to make a table of who was right and wrong; inevitable the scales would be higher on the pandavas side.

@ Arijit, Yudi is to blame for STAKING her. She would have been a maid.
If you read other non -religious books such as one that was recently made into an oscar nominated motion picture, you will see that in past timesslaves were thought of as items and SO for Yudi staking his beloved queen was making her a slave. he did NOT stake her to be striped and neither did he know she would be striped.

Now his brother's fault--they ALLOWED him to stake her. Someone should have protested but again they were bound by protocol. in today's times A-B -N-S would all have said screw protocol; we are going to break D-D-K's bones BUT in those days they suffered silent humilation (and let their beloved queen suffer)

THEN vastraharan --Yudi could have protested. Again in those days dharmraj's protocol was everything.

BUt Krishna tells them that their biggest mistake was to stake her and they must pay; so they paid. Were they incapable then of declaring war on HP and snatching their kingdom back? off course not they were as capable then. Why did Arjun wait for Agyatvas and not strike as soon as he got divine shastras--penace for sins. Why did Yudi still want peace regardless of his beloved queen's humiliation and why did he say I will be happy Madhav with even FIVE villages? because he knew that he was wrong somewhere.

And how else, would the world eb taught that gambling is bad and that even virtuous people sometimes lose their minds and have to pay for their sins.

I am not defending Yudi BUT trying to put all the blame on him and absolving K-D-D-S of their sins is also unfair. There is a reason Yudi went straight to heaven.
