abhi:Yes its the jaydratha one
vrish:ok got it so Bheem could have killed karna but didnt becuase of arjuna's vow and karna could have killed Bheema but didnt due to his vow to kunti.I was reffering to below incident its the one transalated by Rajagoplachari hence may be written slightly differently

Seeing Duryodhana's brothers, who came to help him, slain one after another in this manner, Karna was overwhelmed by anguish. He leant back on his seat in the chariot and closed his eyes unable to bear the sight. Then recovering control over his emotions he hardened his heart and began again his attack on Bhima. Bow after bow was broken up by Bhimasena's shaft, but Karna kept the battle. Eighteen times he had to take up a fresh bow. Karna had long ago discarded his smile and his face showed savage anger even as Bhima's. They now glared fiercely at each other as they fought. Yudhishthira now heard Bhima's roar rise above the tumult of battle, and heartened by it, he fought Drona with increased vigor. In the renewed and fierce battle between Bhima and Karna, Bhima lost his horses and charioteer. Soon his chariot also was smashed to pieces. Then, Bhima hurled his spear at Karna who was in his chariot and as Karna parried it with his shaft, Bhima advanced with sword and shield. But Karna broke the shield at once with his shafts. Then, Bhima whirled his sword and hurled it, and it cut Karna's bow into two and fell on the ground. But Karna took up yet another bow and assailed Bhima with arrows more fiercely than before. Bhima, in a fit of uncontrollable rage, sprang upon Karna. Radheya took cover behind his flagstaff and escaped destruction. Thereupon, Bhima jumped out of Karna's car down into the field of battle where, deprived of all arms, he used the elephants lying dead on the ground to protect himself from Karna's arrows and continued the fight. He picked up anything he could lay hands upon, wheels of broken chariots, the limbs of horses and elephants that were lying about, and hurling them at Karna, kept him engaged without interval. But this could not long continue and Bhima was soon at a great disadvantage. Karna said exultingly: "Foolish glutton, you do not know the science of war; why do you engage yourself in battle here? Go to the jungle and fill yourself with fruits and roots and grow fat. You are a savage, not fit for kshatriya battle. Get away!" Hurling insulting taunts at him, he made the helpless Bhima burn with rage, but mindful of his word to Kunti, refrained from killing him. "There, Arjuna! See how poor Bhima is being harassed by Karna," said Krishna. Dhananjaya's eyes burned red with wrath, when he saw the plight of his valiant brother. He bent his Gandiva bow and discharged his arrows on Karna who then gladly turned his attentions from Bhima to Arjuna. He had pledged his word to Kunti not to kill more than one of the Pandavas and he reserved that option for the great Arjuna.

That battle b/w Bhima & Karna was a stalemate. By then, Bhima had advanced deep enough to catch up w/ Arjun, who drove a seriously mauled Karna away at the end.

Vrish:I was reffering to the below given line from the KMG source
Bhima also, raising his fierce fists that were endued with the force of the thunder, desired to slay the Suta's son. Soon, however, he recollected Arjuna's vow. The son of Pandu, therefore, though competent, spared the life of Karna, from desire of not falsifying the vow that Savyasachin had made. The Suta'sson, however, with his sharp shafts, repeatedly caused the distressed Bhima, to lose the sense. But Karna, recollecting the words of Kunti, took not the life of the unarmed Bhima
Hence i said both spared each other's life due to different vows

Right, so it's not accurate to say that either defeated the other. At least not in this battle.

Shaheer and Saurav's Vikram-Betaal moment on the sets of Star Plus' Mahabharat

Handsome, dashing, sexy, hot, charming... we are running short of adjectives to introduce Shaheer Sheikh.

Well, this brawny actor, who is currently impressing everyone with his power-packed performance as Arjun in Star's Mahabharat, is having a gala time on the sets with his co-star Saurav Gurjar (Bheem). The bonhomie between the two is contagious.

In the above picture you can see how Shaheer is carrying Saurav on his shoulders and it reminds us of famous fictional characters, Vikram and Betaal.

"Yes, Saurav is a great buddy. I usually lift him on my shoulder and walk and also take the staircase. Due to my shoot, I don't get time to work out, hence I carry him around to keep myself fit (smiles)," shares Shaheer.

How do you manage to carry him (as he is quite bulky)? "Well, I know he is a bit bulky but I can manage and that's way I am staying fit these days."

Given a chance if you have to carry anyone else on your shoulders, then who will be that lucky girl? "Well I don't have a girlfriend but I would love to carry my daughter on my back in future."

How cute Shaheer!!!

Keep the bonding alive!!!

I kind of do agree with the article on Mahabharat
Draupadi and her marriage to 5 pandavas was one of the most well done tracks of this series.Even if it wasn't as per the epic it was logical and sensitive and gripping

Written update 17th February 2014 Episode : 112

1) Draupadi and Pandav, maharaaj Drupad everybody is highly disappointed with what happened. But Krishna bhagwan assures everybody with positive thoughts and advice.

2) Krishna predicts to Draupadi "the whole Kuru dynasty will be purified for you" ... He predicts to Arjun "always remember "yato dharma, tato jaya" wherever there is dharm, there is victory...

3) Mahamantri Vidur comes and sees everything. He feels surprised to see all these. He talks to Vasudev; and He assures Him by saying that; "Pandav are not different, just five bodies. They are like the Five Faced-Hanumaan alter. They have five bodies but they are five forms of one Power and they will be able to fight with any obstacle in their life"

4) He also predicts to Vidur "Mahamantri Vidur, please protect the throne of Hastinapur with patience and intelligence because a great earthquake is coming on Aryavrat and the Throne of Hastinapur will be the center of that earthquake" ...

5) Gandhari realizes her mistakes that she could not give proper lesson to Duryodhan. Dhritarashtra also realizes his mistake for not being able to rectify his son.

6) Dhritarashtra is extremely hurt because he has been brutally insulted by his son; Duryodhan called him "incapable" of being a king...

7) However, he understands if he doesn't make his son the king, situation will worsen. Duryodhan has become overtly ambitious so he will do more adharm. SO he takes the decision of crowing Duryodhan as the king. Gandhari sheds tears...

8) Shakuni is very satisfied to see Duryodhan's rajyabhisek. Duryodhan looks at his father's crown greedily and with a lot of hunger of wearing it...

9) Dhritarashtra is about to crown him, at that moment Pitamah enters and stops them... Kripacharya feels happy to see pitamah...

10) Krishna's advice and Pitamah's arrival - main theme
