@Rushi, may be medha has answered by the time I post it.

It says son of Jamadagni. And only Lord Parashuram is called by that name. Hence QED. 😊

He was forewarning Duryodhan and others in Hastinapur that a war against Pandavas who had Arjun and Krishna on their side was not good for Kauravas.

@Medha...
After reading that article ypu posted,I had the confusion that how we can definitely say that the brahmin who is referred as Jamadagni's son is Parashuram???
As far as I know, Jamadagni had five sons from his wife Renuka, named Rukmavan, Sukhen, Vasu, Vishwavanas and Parshuram, in which Parashuram was the youngest...

But I do agree, that Parashuram was the only one who was also referred as Ram...
Since in this article Ram is mentioned, that person must be Parashuram only...

@raj bhaiya right.Yes. Is matsya fish?
@rushi but he is lord parshuram and if you read it, you can say that he is saying what he think is the truth, his opinion like stating a fact instead of praising.
Both his students are in the court but he is speaking in agreement to krishnas speech that he gave before him.
Krishna is trying to convince duri dushi and co. To give pandavas 5 village and live in peace. They dont respond so parshuram gives it a shot.

Wow suki, i had thought that they had only 4 sons.Thanks.
Yes parshuram was the youngest and the only one called ram, short for his full name.
That is why bolded both "jamadagnis son" and in the later paragrapg "ram continued".
Also parshuram is the famous son and called jamadagnis son mostly.

@rushi you could say he was warning the kauravas side because he wanted the well being of his students.

@raj bhaiya, rushi, suki it is not an article, it is actually the KMGs translation of ved vyas mahabharat on sacred-texts.
I gave the link. I just copy pasted here.

Yes, I agree, the Brahmin in the article, who is referred as Jamadagni's son and Ram is Parashuram...

As for the part in bold...
I had read this in my childhood and don't remember where exactly...
But since it is very dangerous to say anything without giving citations and proof, here is a site that verifies the 5-son theory...
