I'd consider Bheeshma! I feel his portrayal is close in comparison to the other ones listed in the poll options. I'm not denying the fact that he was portrayed as a man who took strong stand at critical times i.e. after the poisoning of Bhima. But this particular thing didn't bother me more because majority of the track was fiction and the clan was young then. I enjoyed that particular track.
Post the leap he's being portrayed as a helpless man who couldn't have done anything differently. I guess all remember the scene where he was staring at the king with his eyes reflecting the helplessness purely. He couldn't do anything without the king's wish.
Now coming to the scene in episode 81, in which he talks about punishing the guilty clan. That was just an emotional outburst and not a commitment! He clearly expressed he can't do so.

Haven't watched much of Krishna so can't comment.

Dhritarashtra has come to his character only post the leap.

Gandhari never really opposed her sons and brother. Here she's just the opposite... she cares so much for Kunti and even does Pranipaat to Yudhisthira 😆

Karna has been turned to a crying baby who is being used by Duryodhana.

Duryodhana...he's like a typical daily soap villain...not a bit close to the real one.

Arjuna...even he isn't close to the real one.

Nice topic TM. I think its a toss between Bheeshma and Gandhari. To large extent, they are not grey characters and are depicted mostly in positive light.
I actually liked the track why Gandhari decides to stay blindfoldeand subsequent Dhritarashtra reaction.

@Shruti.. Pranipat 😆 that was too much 😆

I voted for none.. I think most of us would have the same idea about most of the characters.. Too early to comment about Draupadi.. and also this Krishna behaves too much like God.. Bheeshma is a little ok but he atleast had a little hold on Dhird unlike what they show.. else how will he convince Dhrid to give Kandavaprastha to the Pandavas?

I don't think any of the characters are any close to the epic ... Duryodhan n Arjuna being farthest from their characters amongst all the given options ... Its too early to comment on Kanha ...

Diala di maybe Dhritarashtra agreed because his son expressed no objection on a barren land being given to the Pandavas.

..

agreed dear.. that is in real.. but here for a simple matter of sending kauravas to Drona's school, Bheeshma needs to blackmail him with Bhima's murder attempt.. he has no voice here is what I say.. he was only a little weak not this much..

I can't vote for anyone either. Can we vote for the younger boys who played pandavas and Kauravas? They were much better than the older ones and were portrayed bit better!
