I have not yet come across anything like this for Pandu but a truly "disturbing" fact I discovered while searching about Pandu...

"Pandu was a learned man. His last wish was that his sons must eat his brain post death so that all the knowledge may transfer to them. However, Sahadeva was the only one who followed the instructions of his father. With the first bite, he became enlightened about all that had happened in the history. With the second bite, he became enlightened about all that was happening in the world. And with the third bite, he became enlightened about all that would happen in the future of the world."

I have come across this but the thing i read was different.

Pandu (Father of Pandavas) wished his sons must eat his flesh post death so that all the knowledge may transfer to them which he had collected after so many years. Only Sahadeva ate a piece; the moment he ate he was able to see future but stopped by God. He was a blessed astrologer.

and on another site i read that ants were eating pandu's flesh and sahadeva could not see this therefore in order to prevent his father's insult he ate pandu's flesh

But, the common thing in all these is that Sahadev ate his Father's flesh...
Mahabharat is full of 'paaps, adharmas and curses'...
Then how could eating your own father's flesh be a good thing.??? 😕

I read a book(Terry Goodkind - Sword of Truth Series) in which the people used to eat their enemies flesh so that they could learn all their enemies secret and defeat them easily.. Maybe the author got the idea from Mahabaharat??? 😛
