Todays thought: i was thinking that how arjuna was such a weird guy. He had ego like everyone.Karna, duri. Rukmi.
But his ego was never about being the greatest warrior,archer etc.
His first ego was his gandiva, like a small child so proud of his grand toy.
His second ego was about being closest to krishna in this world.Hence his fight with lord hanumana over it.Lol.
Just thinking.

Lol chhote tum ye kya kah rahe ho? Mai to uske gandiva bow ki baat kar rahi thi ko usee abhi 12-15 saal baad milegi.

Even krishna himself was proud of arjunas akills as an archer and a warrior.To arjun proud kyu naa ho?

Being proud of yourself is never a bad thing but being falsely proud of yourself for being better than someone else is wrong.Keep boasting about how you are greater than someone you have never defeated is wrong.

No mere bacheey gandiva to khandava-daha ke baad, agni ne arjun se kush hokar varun deva se dilwaya.And saath me one nahi two quivers bhi jo inexhaustible the, unme arrows kabhi khatm nahi hote the ... It was created by brahma and used by indra, soma, varun ... Only two people on earth could weild gandiva ... Ek arjuna and dusre obviously krishna. It made the sound of thunder when arrow was shot from it ... Gandiva ki tankaar se hi log samajh jaate the ki arjuna kahi aas paas hai.
