Today while showing Arjun and Subhadra at Hastinapur, background was AAMER FORT (Jaipur, Rajasthan - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amer_Fort) and was built by Raja Maan Singh I, much much later after Mahabharata period ...

This was such a huge blooper ... I wonder they will show Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, Pisa and who knows even Krishna and Arjun discussing about Geeta at a huge Mall's food court and Draupadi at INOX enjoying popcorn with 5 Pandavas ... This was ultimate today. The producers never did any study of Geography of Hastinapur also. Hastinapur with Ganga flowing there and Aamer Fort of Jaipur, where Arjun and Subhadra firting ... way tooo much ...

i didnt understand how can they use palaces that were present in Mahabharat time it doesnt exist any more.they have to use the palaces that are there in India right now.Its better than using sets it looks more realistic.in any case the setting was beautiful

Coz it's like 5000 years old

Interesting you mean to say that they should be showing stuff from the Mahabharat era?

Next you will be saying show the actual battleground for Kurukshetra.

😕

Hastinapur is in Meerut district. Is that a mountainous area? One would think so, from the mountainous backdrop in a lot of scenes.

They'd have to level Delhi to recreate Indraprastha. If only... 😈

lol.if we will go technically, there are many things which are not supposed to on that era.I don't think anybody knew about mirrors I guess in that era...😊 but gandhari was using it.Whenever I see hastinapur full of water and trees..reminds me of the lord of the rings...😊

You were annoyed by the fact they used Ajmer fort? I was more annoyed about how ridiculous this whole Arjun and Subhadra track is!

I don't mind that it's kiddish, but Subhadra and Arjun never met until Arjun was exiled for breaking the rules they made regarding the sharing of Draupadi.

I haven't watched B.R. Chopra's version in many years because it is very inaccurate, but in comparison to this rubbish it's lots better!
