What did you read in MB that made you think that?

In the original, Nakul & Sahadev were indeed insignificant, aside from conquests they did during the Rajasuya yagna, but there is no way Arjun stood head & shoulders above all the rest. If that credit has to be given to anyone, it ought to go to Bhima. But really, each of these 3 - Yudisthir, Bhima & Arjun - were heroes on different occasions. At this time, it's Bhima who should be shown leading everybody, staying awake when the rest sleep, and so on. Not Arjun.

Arjun was head & shoulders above them only during the war, and only wrt YNS. Bhima was definitely his equal, or even superior. E.g. on day 14, Arjun had to pass Drona w/o defeating him, but Bhima destroyed 100 of his chariots b4 passing him. What the serials show - Drona defeating Bhima - is total bakwas.

But it's hard to present Yudisthir as a hero & give him a bgm, be he emperor or not. All he gained was due to the efforts of his brothers.

Note: Bhima was not married to Hidimba.. They lived together to beget a son who would be the gaurd for Hidimba after which Bhima can leave her.. It was kind of an agreement..

Bhima was very much married to Hidimbi, but the reason she didn't live w/ him was that rakshashis were not allowed to live in human populated cities for obvious reasons.

from what I read, they agreed on the terms and she took him away.. nothing like marriage happened.. 😒

Starbharat is all about distortions...the jungle looked like a comic book... Yesterday When kunti asked yudi to suggest wht shud be done whether to rest or not Arjun's face was like arreye yeh dialogue main bolunga yudi bhaiya kaise bol sakte hain...

Stepping back to avoid letting someone touch one's feet is a modern invention - it wasn't there even 20 years ago, much less in the Dwapar Yuga. And showing Drupada do that, of all people, and that too to Draupadi, was pretty disgusting.

Another thing - Ashwatthama, as a Brahmin, is now into hunting? Granted, he was the king, but shouldn't he be in court administering the kingdom?
