i have read a few variations of the epic. i would like to know whether my knowledge of them is wrong.
and from which variation did they pick up the current story of the show.
initially i was doubtful about the show but when i learnt that devadutt patnaik is on board i thought the show will be close the original. i m at present highly disappointed.
the major point of the show is to reach the younger generation but what is the use if they are presenting fabricated scenes.
there are lots of kids who are watching the show and the will believe in this false characterization.
i just request the cvs to just stick to the original story.

i have read a few variation of the epic. i would like to know whether my knowledge of them is wrong and from which form the cvs have taken the present story from?
after watching ekta's version i was doubtful of this show. but when i leant devadutt patnaik is on board i was happy. thinking the story will mosty follow the original. but now i m higly disappointed.
the main aim of the show is to reach the younger generation.
my question is what is the use?
by showing fabricated scenes they are creating misinformation.
there are lots of kids who are watching the show so i really request the cvs to stick to the script on now give their own version of the great epic

completely agree with u ... even i am highly disappointed ...
i guess, i should hv given up right from beginning when they did character assassination of satyavati's character !!!! 😡
after some initial episodes, i tried to give it a chance, but now i think i should give up completely!!!
they are showing all fabricated facts and over imaginative stuff only where real facts are left far behind!!!!
i was expecting them to go the right way at least with pandavs, kauravs grown up, but what a disappointment it was, even their entry track is only full of fabricated and imaginative stuff !!!

i doubt they have done any research or even read original mahabharat even once. they are just showing all sunna sunnaya stuff with their over active imagination and just wasted money on sets and costume. rather wasting money on sets and costumes only if they had spared little time for research or just reading the original mahabharat, things could hv been much for this show !!! mahabharat story itself have so much of spice and drama to hold on to it's audience. it doesn't need their fictional additional spice, it's poisoning it. 🥱

rant over 😉
thanks for this post. 😊
highly disappointed with today's episode

i dont think any will learn wrong things becuase they would already know Mahabhart stories through amar chitra katha and all.I mean Mahabharat is part of our culture even if no one has seen MB they know most of the stories.I think most of the people watching know the real story because MB is such a thing even without watching you would know.I mean look at this forum only its full of new genration and most of us know MB fully

i don't think so that many kids these days read amar chitra katha !!!
yes, definitely many might be told stories and might know some stuff but it doesn't mean they know all. few of them might cross check and many of them might believe what TV series is showing is true!!!. even i can't guarantee that i know all from A to Z of MB and was looking forward to the show for same but what a disappointment!!!
or SP should keep flashing message that what they are showing isn't close to original and all creative liberty is taken to great extent!!!
but those who wanted to see the show close to original are left disappointed. and believe me they are many!!! there are already many TV shows running for drama n all fictional stuff. if people are tuning in to MB, it is because we expect to see it atleast somewhere close to original !!!

uptill now there hv been many flaws in this show but what SP has shown this week was stupid and disappointing. it just shows lack of home work done by them if they doesn't know that in those days archer fought with archer and mace with mace!!! and they even showed duryoden bheem using mace on legs and actors flying here n there after that !!!! 😆 i guess use of mace was only till waist and not below that. first time when this rule was broken it resulted in duryoden's death!!! what crap they showed. this only shows lack of research on their part. heck it's not even research, it's common sense!!!
for amateur people who know little stuff watching this show is becoming a waste of time. that's all ...
bdw if they stick to original they won't hv any loss. original story of MB hv all elements to make it very intriguing. i wonder what makes them add all imaginative stuff!!!
