Earlier I created a thread of the same thing ,But a poll would be more appropriate. I did not include shree Krishna because he is a god and if he wanted he would have ended the war in a blink of an eye. vote and give reason if u want it isn't necessary. The reason I did not include bheeshma's icha-mrityu because it is purely based on knowledge and skill, if he had his icha-mrityu he will be unconquerable.

Bhishma was the greatest warrior undoubtedly. The Iccha-Mrityu boon didn't make him invincible.

He was invincible till the time he himself kept aside his weapons seeing Shikhandi.
And age too matters. He was the eldest among all, and yet the most powerful. Nobody could ever defeat him. Unconquerable till the very end! And he used to kill 10, 000 men before the sunset as he could never attack any of the five pandavas. This continued for 10 days.

One more point, he never cheated and fought like a true warrior. Perhaps he was the only one to do so.

Iccha-Mrityu boon was more like a curse. And it didn't heal his wounds, so how can someone say this boon made him invincible?

Bhishma had told Yudhi that he won't attack a man who has fallen down his chariot, who's flag is torn, who escapes, who is in fright, drunken. He also won't attack a woman, or someone who's name is like a woman's. A weak man who can't protect himself, a man without any weapon, or someone who has only a son, he won't attack these.

Noblest, purest and the most compassionate chivalrous warrior.

I agree with Shruti. The boon didn't heal Bhishma's wounds. So how can the boon make him invincible? Bhishma was the greatest warrior even without the boon.

Bhishma & Arjuna are leading and Karna is just 1 vote behind.. Its indeed a very tough competition b/w the 3..winner should be either Karna or Bhishma..I'll be happy if anyone from them (Bhishma/Karna) win this poll ! 😃

That doesn't matter at all. Fact is a fact!

Bhishma, Drona and Karna are the greatest warriors of the era.

And you know very well that people will vote for actors and not the characters 😆
See, nobody voted for Drona 😆

Drona was a also a great warrior. Otherwise, there was no need for Pandavas to use trickery to kill Drona. None other than Lord Krishna himself suggested the trickery. That shows how mightly Drona was.

And I think Arjun was greater warrior than Karn. Karn always lost to Arjun.

Within Karna & Arjuna, I will choose Arjun as Karna became always defeated by Arjuna, but between Arjuna & Bhishma I will vote Bhishma Pitamaha as Arjuna could never defeat him without Shikhandi, more clearly, Bhishma was unconquerable in war if he didn't expose the way of his own death to pandavas. remember that he alone ruled the Kurukshetra for 10 days within the 18. remember that even Arjuna could not conquere him in Virat parva's war, he had to apply sammohan vana but he confessed to prince Uttar that the weapon will not harm his Pitamaha. also, remember that even his Guru Parshuram, being the incarnation of Lord Vishnu & a great warrior, could not defeat him. He himself told before war that he was unconquerable, & he himself told the way of own death as he didn't want to hurt his dearest pandavas & also wanted to being neutral throughout the whole war. He knew that Dhritarashtra & Duryodhana will never allow him to be neutral, so he joined kauravas & intentionally became inactive so that none of his family was hurt by him.
