i liked the parallels in today's episode.
First parallel Dhridhrashtra becoming a king and pandu leaving .loved the song and so true jo hona hota hai woh hoke rahta hai.Dhridhrashtra was supposed to be king so that mahabharat could happen and no amount of vidur's gyaan could change that
second parallel between a wife's dedication and husband's dedication.Gandhari after sacrificing so much for dhridhrashtra just because she is unable to give him a son is threatened with the fact that if she doesnt give him a son he will sleep with some one else on other hand like pandu pointed out he is unable to give his wives any sons yet they are so dedicated and loyal to him.Eternal difference between a man's dedication and that of a wife

Yup it was executed wonderfully. 👏 Kunti- Pandu are such an ideal couple. :) On the other hand, Gandhari's fate is really bad...

Hey btw, why doesn't Gandhari deliver even after 15 months?

It actually happens even today, and its causes are still unknown. In Medical terms it is called - 'postterm pregnancy'. Nowdays if such case occurs, that is if a woman's pregnancy prolongs beyond the normal period, then labour is 'induced' with the help of doctors to deliver the baby, or else the baby will die. Either hormonal medications are given or surgical techniques are used to do so.
Don't know if during Gandhari's time such treatment was possible or not. Though Ayurveda and surgery methods were well-known in ancient India.

Maybe a genetic disorder.
Maybe such things may have happened even today...but now they don't wait, thanks to c-sections and stuff. if it's overdue. 😆 But those days it wasn't there...or who knows...🤔

Even I was confused. After 15 months of pregnancy there was nothing but a lump. Feel sorry for Gandhari's state. Dhrit is disgusting.

And you know what guys the worst thing is after seeing gandhari's situation i realized that things really havent changed much from that time.Women are still in many parts of India considered to be used as machines who are meant to give birth to babies mainly sons and if she cant she is good for nothing.Things might be differnet in cities but in villages things are largely the same.Women are just good enough to give birth to children nothing else if not husband can look some where else this thing is still perevalent in many parts of India.I mean Mahabhart happend in 3000BC i think and from that till today soo many centuries have passed i cant even count but this thing for womankind still remains the same after centuries. So sad😭
