Thanks for the update.

I guess this version of Mahabharata will forward the story in a modern avatar - given the open dalliance of Shantanu and Satyavati.

Production wise, it is good. But the actors need to probably work some more dignity into their characters. That is what will lend weight to the series in the long term.

Precap: Devavrata takes the pledge and Shantanu blesses him with "Icchamrityu" (Death on wish) and names him Bhishma...1!!!

Now how on earth he got the power to give a boon to his son!?😲He even broke his Brahmacharya(life of isolation after Ganga left him!)There is no need to marry or have a physical relation, the slightest desire for a partner is sufficient to break the austerity!😳

As usual Dhasu update 😃

i liked the episode
intresting narrative,Shayantini is the star of the show so far
absolutely perfect as Satyavati-loved her the most

and ofcourse SRJ-he kind of presented Krishna as a cuter more naughty and witty version of Vishnu from DKDM-well done

the show on its own was good-but some how that whole "25 years old" explanation of Bheeshma,his entry,his background-they didnt elaborate much on why he was born etc-which left me kind of disappointed
Its an important part of the story line-i hope they elaborate how and why Bheeshma was born.

Also-although i think Aarav Choudhary is a good actor,i feel they could have gotten a younger face for atleast this phase of Bheeshma-Aarav looked too mature to play a young Devdutt

Also i at times felt the scenes etc were done in a hurried manner-maybe i am the only one who feels that

Over all i liked the show-the pace is REALLY quick-so there is no way you can miss even one episode
its for limited episodes-so i am happy
also i LOVED the locales :)

Hi every1!Thanks for the WU!
Abt the 1st epi,I must say I loved the locales&special effects!overall nice beginning with a few loopholes which wud include Lord Krishna's sudden interventn into the main story,it looked a bit off but then a better editing wud do the job!
Best part of 1st epi satyawati(the perspctv of she being mastermind behind Bhism rejecting d throne¬ her father is interestn)not 2 4get d titletrack wid introductn of all charactrs

Hey Bhagu!! Yamunaji giving way to Krishna and his pappa was ok...but Ganga maiya giving way to Rakshas is just too much 🤣

Issein maa bete ka pyaar kehte hai 😆 😆

I kind of found satyavati stupid 😆😆 She rejected being the queen.. But thanks to Bhisma both her wishes got fulfilled 😛
