i am a fan of the dialogues and the music of the BRC MB..
especially the ones for bheeshma , vidur and krishna

Some of my favourite Krishna dialogues in BRC -

1. "Aap to jaante hain dau...ki jab mein soyaa hua dikhaayi deta hoon, tab bhi jaagta hi rehta hoon..."

(Krishna to Balaram in HP)

2. "Kahaan dau? Inse parichay ka saubhaagya to aaj praapt ho rahaa hai. Aur milta bhi kaise dau? Yeh to unke priya bhaiyon ke swaagat aur unke aa jaane ke anand mein leen rahe honge...pranaam Bhrata Duryodhan"

(Krishna getting intro'd to Dury - the sarcasm is so strong!!)

3. "Acharya, yadi prashna karna hi hua, to uske uttar se ghabrana nahin chahiye...aap to swayam se jhoojh rahe hain. Duryodhan bhi aap hi hain aur Arjun bhi aap hi...Arjun vo Nar hai jo Narayan ke darshan karvaayega..."

(Krishna to Drona)

4. "Duryodhan dau ko ghumaane le gaye hain. Lagtaa hai ghuma diyaa..." 😆

5. "Kisi ki kripa kisi ki karmabhoomi nahin ho sakti. Apni karmabhoomi ke pathhar to manushya to swayam hi todne padte hain..." (Krishna to Yudi after creation of IP)

6. "Mein jaanta thaa, matashri, ki dau itne dino ke paschaat aaye hain to sabhi ke liye koi na koi uphaar avashya le aayenge. Mere liye aap kyaa le aaye, dau?" 😆😆

7. "Apne ghar ke iss chandramaa ko jaana to chandravanshiyon mein hi chahiye, dau...parantu yeh nirnay uthte surya ke saath lene chahiye ki Subhadra ke jeevan mein sadaa dhoop chitki rahe..." 😉

(Krishna talking about Subhi & Arjun...but Balaram assumes it as Subhi & Dury)

8. "Tum Bharatvanshiyon ko pratigyaayein karne mein itni ruchi kyun hain?" 😆😆😆

(Krishna to Arjun on Day 14 of war)

Here's an old interview of Mukesh Khanna. He was first offered the role of Duryodhana in BRC MB. But he refused since he did not want to do a negative role. He speaks on acting, plus there is a profile on him - http://archive.today/c6EQ3

Mukesh ji is a science grad from St Xavier's, LLB from Government Law College and grad from the prestigious FTII where he received distinction in acting course.

Earlier artistes and TV show makers were well rounded, highly educated and often had solid background in theatre or were alumni of prestigious institutions such as NSD and FTII unlike today's times when artistes are mainly good looking models or beauty pageant winners. The difference in quality therefore is a given.

Yes the best part were the distinct BGM scores for each character. Their names were not mentioned just the tune was enough to know whether it is Shakuni, Duryodhan or Arjun or Karna.👏

Krishna and Dau's relationship was blissfully sweet, they captured their brotherly love so beautifully, even when they were teens and younger still

As we r on dialogues heres a heartily sweet one that passes between them that happens during Draupadis Syayamvar, their little convos here were like commentaries from the spectators seat, providing short respites from the main event around syayamvar,

Krishna: Ab to aap manyega Dau ke yeh Pandav hi ho sakte hai

Balram: Main bua kunti ke putro ko jeevik dekh kar ati prasand ho Krishan...(he points towards Bhim) Toh woh mera shishya Bhim hai?

Krishna: Jee haan, aur woh jo haara hua kada hai, woh bhi aapka priye kumar Duryodhan hai

Balram: thik hai thik hai, ab yeh sangharsh ban karwo

Krishna: (laughing and pays Dau respects) Jo aagya Dau

i cant replicate the way these actors gave tthat short moment expression, Krishna being his cheeky self whilst Dau had a sort of absent-mindedness and short temper to him in contrast

just take any one scene from this serial there is so much in it, which just speaks to the greatness of it

Yep these two scenes reflect their eternal bonding very well. I do remember the exact dialogue.
'Badhaai ho Acharya Drona, aaj tumhare shishya ne meri chhaati chhalni kar di...chhaati chhalni kar di'
