so I found this really cool map of ancient Bharat with all the major rajyas that we hear in the Mahabharat, this will put things in perspective! 😉

I thought that Anga would be where Videha was shown - in North Bengal - Shillong, Cooch Behar, Sikkim & surrounding areas. Also, Prayag @ the time was known as Prathisthana.

Also, wouldn't the kingdoms of Kauravya & Chitravahana be within Bharatvarsa - as in Nagaland & Manipur? Here they show those outside that area. Besides, the southern part of Pundra would fall outside the country - even Arjun never ventured there during his Ashwamedha conquests, even though he went as far as Manipura.

Incidentally, the maps they show in the serial make it look like Hastinapur was a huge empire, when in fact it was a small kingdom in today's Meerut district, in UP

Anga was in modern-day Bihar- Anga-Banga-Kalinga were the 3 neighbouring kingdoms.
I've read that the Manipur of Chitrangda may not have been today's Manipur.

I think they zoom in lol 😆 and expand the map
