Part 28 (Previous part : Part 27 )

As everyone looked at them, Prince took the lady by surprise as he held her hand with a smile while she looked everywhere around her.

Looking at her son's happy face, Queen smiled and same did the little Princess who followed the Prince and his lady with her eyes as they climbed the steps to head to the ball room.

Entering the room filled with classical music (Violin, flute...), people dancing everywhere and the stage for the coronation set in the center with mike, table with crown on it and musicians around the stage, the Prince pulled himself along with his lady to the center of the dance floor with few eyes on them among the crowd.

"May I have the first dance?" Prince asked as they stopped in the center stage and faced each other.

"Seriously?" she asked shocked.

"As long as you promise not to tread on my feet!" he replied with a serious face making her chuckle "So accepted!" he says as he stands in his position, with his head held high and she on the other hand with a smile on her face, stands straight and did the small gesture of bending a little before accepting to give her hand in his extended one.

With music running around them, they stood close to each other, with her right hand in his left and her left hand on his shoulder while his right hand was on her back with just a small space between them so the air could pass by them.

Locking their eyes, they started to move to the music slowly, in circle.

And there entered another couple, hand in hand as their eyes were just for the only couple dancing in the center with evil smirks visible on their lips.

Deepali, looking at her partner with a crooked smile, asked "Shall we?"

And he who was waiting for the opportunity, showed his teeth and asked for her hand before they made their way to the dance floor.

Looking around, she asked "Aren't you worried they are all talking about us?" trying to make her face look normal.

"They are just saying that you are out of my league!" he said as a matter of fact.

"I'm sure!" she laughing at his seriousness.

"I really wouldn't be here if it wasn't you!" he said sincerely.

"I think you are giving me more credits than what I really deserve." she said with a simple smile.

'No I'm not! And I don't think so!" with smile, he continued "I'm comfortable with you!" looking keenly in her eyes "You are more genuine than anybody I have ever met!" he finished making her face fall.

Taking his hand from her back as her hand went to his hip, he held her chin and lifted her face as she opened her mouth to tell him something "Rishab! I" and both got interrupted in whatever they were doing with the applause echoing the room with all the guests entering there as only few minutes is left for Christmas to begin along with Rishab's reign.

Everyone stopped dancing and went to take their place to witness the coronation.

"I guess it's time! Wish me luck!" he said with a smile that she reciprocated.

"You don't need luck!" she said before he moved away from there as the ceremonial music started to play with the Prime Minister and Price getting on the stage and standing straight, welcoming everyone with a warm smile hiding his stress.

u r too good at keeping the suspense..😛
since past 2 updates I am anxious as to what are the devil duo planning..
& u are slowly but steadily increasing the anticipation..
RK said so much to madhu while dancing..
It's almost a confession..😳
Coronation ceremony!!
Oh God, plz make the ground swallow the devil duo or let the cyclone take them away before they do something to disrupt the ceremony..😆
