Please forgive me

I know I'm the newest writer here in the forum and I have only ongoing story

so it is not my place to give advises

But I will talk with you as a reader

I read most of the ongoing stories here in the forum

Some of them as a silent reader

there are somethings that make it easier for us to follow your story

and it will give you more followers for your work

please make index for your story in the first post
for who have more than 3 stories please make index thread for all your stories and put it in your signature
Try your best to update your story frequently every 3 days or every week or how it suits you but make it fixed time period to get your reader attached and organized to know when the next update will be
try your best not to write more than 2 or 3 stories at time. it help you to focus on your ongoing stories and update regularly and it will not make your reader lost in so many stories out there
try your best to read others work as much as you can. it will help you to improve your skills as a writer and it will help you to make new and unique concept by not repeating others concepts
send pms with the new update to your followers to inform them that you updated your story
try to reply all the comments on your story to appreciate there time they toke to read your story and comment on it
add the last update date in your thread tittle. to inform your readers the newest update
Please Please Please don't leave any story on hold or discontinued this thing is what make you lose followers the most. I'm as a reader when I attach to a story and you leave me there in the middle of the read unsatisfied with suitable end for the characters I will not read another stories for you cause I lost my trust on you. if you lost connection with your story try your best to give any end for the story but don't leave it hanging there
This for not Indian readers please try your best to write your story in English I know this is Indian forum. but there are many many members here who don't understand Hindi and it is hard for them to understand your story completely. If you will write a story in mostly Hindi in it please say it in the first post or put the word Hindi in the tittle to make easier for us readers to know which language this story will be

I hope you all don't mind those tips and try your best to follow them

All that u have said is very useful.

Thanks for this as it might be useful for someone or the other!

And I agree on the fact that when we get attached to a story, we need to have an end to it else it feels really bad.

You are right

I am in that loop.. handful of stories and really struggling to manage it...but what to do..if I get an idea I just write it down .

Now adays I am controlling myself from committing new one 😕

I read if storyline is owsm n myself imaging the end.. 😛 as a heart s obsession.. interviewing a super tycoon..Nasha.. together forever.. passionate desire to love n so on
U read it too..they R all fantastic but u will hv to imagine the end

about the new ideas

I have many ideas but I controlled myself not to start new story while there is another ongoing

if you have new idea just write it in your pc as just idea don't start writing it or put your effort in it just write down the idea so you don't forget it later

focus all your effort and all your mind in your ongoing stories and when they are finished you can start think in the new story

Your mind when it think in many stories and many concepts it distracted and sometime in the middle of the story you find yourself disconnected with your story and lost interest in it because you left it for long time and think in another story and another concept
