Madhuwwent to the temple as she is going to join the job today.she folded her hands in prayer, closing her eyes

She left the temple to the rk music world in a.cab.she climbed out of the cab and paid the driver .she slowly walked to the office with a thumbing heart,sweating hands and flushed face.she flung open the door to rks room , asking him the permission.rk gazed at Madhu with a smile .when Thier eyes met , she felt some emotions in his eyes which she couldn't comprehend ,only lasted for few seconds
"Hi sir good morning"Madhu
"Good morning Madhubala,take You seat.btw it's rk"rk
"Thank you s..rk"Madhu smiled at him
Rk took the intercom
"Bittuji ..at my office now"rk ordered
Few minutes later the door flung Open and bittuji entered with a blur file in his hand
"Good morning madhubalaji"bittuji
"Good morning bittuji"Madhu smiled innocently
Rk glance at her beautiful smile andshifted his gaze when she faced him.bittuji placed the file before rk on the table and seated himself near madhu.rk picked up the file and read it and shook his head in approval.he extension the file to Madhu.
"Read it and if you are ready for the conditions ,you can join us and it will be a honor for us to have you as our singer"rk
Madhu took the file with a shaking hand.rk Smirked at her gitters.mafhu Opened the file and read it carefully.
Rk explained it for her.
"Don't worry Ms madhubala..it's just few conditions.let me explain.condition number 1.you are working here for 3 months .that means you are an employee to me and I am the boss.so all the decisions will be taken by me.you have no authority to question my decisions .
2.you will be a staff247.that means you should be ready to work here even a night shift .
3.you can't leave the job.till the contract period ends.otherwise you have to face the law
4.your salary will be paid monthly and not for the songs indviually.
I had put the salary in the contract ..you can see it in the end"rk
Madhu shuffled the pages to the end.he jaws dropped to the ground and she looked at rk wide eyed.
"What Ms madhubala..is that not enough?"rk
"No..no rk .it's more than enough"Madhu
"Okay..so if you agree with this conditions ..please sign it"rk held a pen to her. Madhu signed the contract and gave it to rk.rk took the file from her and placed it on the table.he stood up from his chair he held his hand to madhu.she stood up and hold his hand
"Welcome to rk music world ms madhubala.come I will introduce you to my staffs"rk moved to the door followed by Madhu and bittuji.rk went to each staff and introduced her to them.madhu felt happy and she thought"the rumours are lies..he is really a gentleman..he never made any such flirty gestures"
"Ok Madhu..this is our recording room"to flung Open the door and moved from the door side for her to enter.he closed the door.madhu looked at the musical instrument and touched a guitar string which made a Melodious sound.
"Madhubala..this is the lyrics.. ria will help you with the tunes.we are starting today itself.do you have any problem ?"rk
"No..rk"Madhu
Ria Opened the door and entered with a smile
"Carry on ..if she has any doubt..you know where you find me?"rk said to ria and wincked at her making ria blushed to blood red.he left the room leaving his manly cologne in the air.
"Is he a play boy?"Madhu
"Han..sort of."ria
They practiced the tune for hours before they went to lunch break.
"Come here is a canteen.we can go there"ria
"Okay"Madhu
Madhu followed ria to the canteen.
"Ms madhubala"rk
Madhu and ria turned to the sound.
"Hmm..ria ..you go for lunch .I have some work with her"rk said
Ria nodded and joined with the other staffs,who were having a smirk on Thier faces.
Madhu followed rk to his room.he Opened the door and Madhu entered with him.he turned and locked the room.he walked further to anotherdoor within his office room and pushed Open it.madhu look at him confused whether to follow him or not.rk turn back and gestured her to go inside.madhu entered the room reluctantly.sge gwaked the cozy room with a king sized bed at the center ,a couch ,a coffee table and a large led TV on the wall.another door in the room,she assumed it might be a bathroom.rk gestured her to sit on the couch.he took the phone and dialed a number and ordered food for two.
"Rk..I will go to canteen and take the food"Madhu
He looked at her and took the remote of the air-conditioner ,switch on it.
"The summer is unbearable."he took ofjhis suit and shoved it on the bed.he unbuttoned the first two button of his shirt .Madhu looked away embrassed.
"Oh god what he is doing .and what he want to talk"Madhu thought
She heard a knock at the door .
"Come in"rk said
A man came and placed the food on the table .rk gestured the man to leave.
Hr went to the wash basin and cleaned his hands and face, looking at madhu through the mirror who was looked at him nervously.he went towards her,took a chair and placed it opposite to her near the table.
"Take the food madhubala"rk
"Rk..I.."Madhu
"Take it"rk in a authoritative voice.
Madhu washed her hand and took her food in silence.
"Why is not telling anything..what he want to talk?"Madhu thought.
He washed his hand after his food. Hellaid down on the bed opening one more button of his shirt revealing his broad chest.madhu flushed,.she washed her hand and came back to her seat.
"Madhubala can you please help?"to
Madhu looked at him for him speak
"Open the fridge "rk
Madhu Opened the fridge to see alcohol bottles stack inside.
"Take two "rk
"Huh..what?I won't drink"Madhu
He laughed and stood up walking towards him.he Opened the freezer to take out teo cups of ice cream
"I meant this"rk handed it and smiled
"T.. thanks"Madhu stuttered.
He went back sat down on the couch.
"I used to take ice cream after my lunch.one of my childhood friend used to do it and she was making a fuss if she didn't get one after her lunch."rk
"Her friend was like me.i too were stubborn about it"she thought
"Hmm..her favorite flavor was strawberry"rk
"Mine too"she said absentmindedly
"Oh really..that's great"rk
They finished Thier meal and went back to the office room.
"Madhubala,the staff might be back ..you go and Join them"rk
Madhu stayed for a few more minutes.
"Go and practice"rk
Madhu left the room thinking"Don't he said he want yo talk with me?",
She saw ria in the recording room.
"Madhu..you missed the lunch?',ria
"No..I had it with rk"Madhu
"What?but he never offered lunch with him to anyone , not even bittuji at office."ria Said surprised
"Really..he didn't talk with me about any official matters except his personal things"Madhu
"Oh my..he always cover up his personality life.no one seems to know about his family,"ria
"Oh..but he told me about his childhood friend"Madhu
"That's wonderful..you are the first person to whom he opened up himself.i think he likes you"ria

Madhu was about to leave as the office time is over and she want to reach her home asap,cause padmini will be mad if she is late.

She turns to him
"I want to here the song you practiced today"rk said and left to his room
Madhu sighed and went to rks room before keeping her hand bag in her counter.sjhe knocked at the door.
"Come in madhubala"rk
She entered and seated opposite to him.rk was looking through a file

"One minute madhu..."rk continued his work.
After 10 minutes.she looked at the clock .it's 6 :10.she fidgeted with her hands.rk glanced at her and went back to his work with a smirk .after another ,20 minutes he closed the file to open another.
"Madhu.. please wait for few more minutes,"rk
Madhu played with her fingers in awe and occasionally looking at the clock.. finally rk closed his file and back leaned his head to his s chair, rubbing his eyes a.
Madhu again looked at the clock and she felt tears brimming in her eyes as she thought of her mother's wrath.

"Hmm..do you want a coffee"rk stood up from his place
"No rk.. but"Madhu
He didn't mind her words.he went to the coffee machine making two coffee.he took one to madhu.shr took it.
"Thanks',Madhu
Rk nodded.she looked at the clock .it showed 8:00
"Rk...song?"Madhu
"Song?..,Han I am not in a mood to hear it now.we will do it tomorrow.you can go"rk
Madhussighed and cursed him under her breath.shd turned to leave.
"Well Madhu..it's really late.i will drop you "rk
"No..I will go"Madhu
"Oh..come on"rkttook his car key and walked to the parking lot.she had no way it her than to follow him.she took the bag from the counter and ran to meet his long strides.he unlocked the car and Opened the door to the passenger side for Madhu .she hopped in and he closed the door.he climbed into the driving seat and set th ngine into life .
Madhuffelt the vibration of her phone.she fished it out from the bag to find out 40 missed.calld from padmini.she felt the fear and her foreheads sweating .rk looked at her nervousness and smiled in his mind
"Come on rk..enjoy it..enjoy every scene."he thought.
Madhu received the call
"H..hello m..ma"Madhu stuttered
"Where are you Madhu .what are you doing at this hours..come back home now.its your last day of work"padmini shouted and cut the call
Madhu bit her trembling lips to keep herself from crying yet the trecherous tears fall down her eyes.rk saw her crying."nice.."he thought
"Madhu...y are you crying?"rk
"No .. nothing"Madhuwwiped her tears .she immersed herself in her dreadful night which is about to Welcome her when she reaches her house.r
Madhu felt the car halted.sje looked out to find her home.
"Rk..how you know the way to my house?"Madhu
"I have your address"rk
"Oh..thank you"Madhu
Rk looked at his old house.
"Madhu... anyone in that house?"rk
"No..no one .some years back a family was there .they left the house when uncle for a transfer.i didn't hear anything about them after that"Madhu
"Oh..u didn't enquire about them?"rk
"No?"she said it as a question
"That house looks good .I want to buy it"rk
"Papa..might knew about it"Madhu
'hmm.. okay Madhu "he started the car
"Rk.. please come to my home have attached"Madhu
"No Madhu..not now..han Don't Break the contract at any cost"rk said and drove off.
Madhu turned back to the house

Madhu felt a sting on her cheeks.madhu palmed her cheek .a sob escaped from her mouth.she ran to her room fell on her bed weeping.
"Padmini..y did you slap her?"Malik
"Malik..I..I can't trust any man around her.i am fed up with all these.. please do something to get her married as soon as possible"Padmini

Rk was playing a guitar and singing a song.
"Chief...you look so happy today"bittuji
He stood from his seat and walked to the bar counter,making a drink for himself.he said
"Yes bittuji..I had made my first move and waiting for the result"rk
Soon his phone rang and he looked at the display smiling.
"Here it is"rk said receiving the call

"Hello sir..I am Madhuaalas mother, padmini"p
"Yes,what can I do for you mam"rk
"Hmm..Madhu said me about a contract she signed.umm..we dosent want to continue in this job so..we wish to cancel the contract"padmini
"Ok you can break it...but..padminiji , for every deed there is a pay back right?,.."he stood up and paced back and forth with a smug
"What do you want us to do"padmini
"Let's make a deal..first option is Madhu to continue her job till the end of three months , and do everything accordance with the contract."rk
"No...and second option?"padmini
"We had invested an amount trusting her and I need you to pay that money"rk
