Part - 2
"Rishu..." she turned back & saw him setting the bonfire. She walked close to him & sat down on his lap throwing her hands around his neck.
"Why you brought me here?" she asked gazing at his mesmerizing dark eyes.
"Happy Valentine's day, Madhu" he whispered in her ear & kissed her cheek gently.
"Happy Valentine's day, Rishu" she kissed him on his cheek.
"You know... 2 years back I proposed you on the same day..."
"I remember" Madhu said shyly. "But you didn't propose me... you just said..." She paused remembering the day which she wanted to forget but she couldn't.

It was a day before Valentine's day & Rk had gone to Goa with his friends to party with booze & chicks but on the way to Goa he met with a grave accident. He was fighting for his life & the doctors had lost all the hope on his survival. he had lost too much of blood & his blood group was a rare group O -ve so they couldn't go for immediate blood transfusion. Rk's parents were shattered & right then Madhu arrived to the hospital with her father hearing the news of Rk's accident.
Rk hated Madhu like anything since their childhood. He felt like she took all his mother's love & affection from him. Radha always had a soft corner on Madhu as she lost her mother the moment she was born but Rk was her priority as he was her own son but Rk failed to understand that. He always bullied Madhu in school & among their friends But still Madhu liked being around Rk. Madhu had the strange attraction for him & also her heart kept on saying that Rk cared for her in his own way. Though he treated her badly he never let anyone else to tease or hurt Madhu. If they dared to do they will face his wrath. He was so possessive for her but to the outside world he put up a facade of hating her.
"Aunty!" Madhu rushed to Radha & hugged her.
"How is Rishu?" She asked worried for her fr-enemy. "
Madhu..." Radha sobbed.
"Aunty please don't cry. What the Doctor's told?" Then Radha briefly said what the doctors told her.
"Aunty... You don't worry. I will give blood to My Rishu!"
"You will?" Radha asked hope flaring in her eyes.
"Yes. My blood group is O-ve only"
(Few hours later)
"Maa!" A meek voice called. Madhu startled hearing the voice & came wide awake. She was sitting in a chair beside Rk's bed & rest her head on her folded arms which she had placed on his bed.
"Rishu..." She hurried sat up & held his hand. She hoped he will pull his hand away but to her surprise he didnt.
"What happened?" He asked looking confused.
"You have been in an accident. You are fine now." Madhu reassured him.
"Where is my mom?" He asked.
"Uncle & Aunty have gone to canteen. You want something?"
"Water" he whispered softly & groaned softly in pain.
"You okay?" She asked concerned.
"Do I look okay?" He asked mockingly. she flushed in embarrassment. Of course he was not okay. He was badly injured & just gained back his consciousness.
"You want me to call the Doc? Yes, I will call the Doc... Then she will make you feel better by giving some pain killer... I will also let her know that you are awake... Oh God! I have to inform your parents first..."
"Cut the crap! Just give me water, dammit!" He growled at her & winched in pain.
"Sorry! Sorry!" She mumbled her apologies rubbing her palm gently over his chest then she went to bring a glass of water.
"Here" she handed him the glass. He glared at her.
"Sorry! Sorry!" She apologized again & took a spoon & with that she gave him the water.
"What's that?" He asked pointing to the bandage on her hand.
"Um... Huh... Nothing... Just a small scrap..." she stammered. She knew he would hate her even more if he realized it was she who gave him blood so she lied to him. He frowned at her, then smirked.
"What?" she asked.
"Tell me the truth, Madhu"
"What truth?" She feigned innocence.
He sighed heavily. "Why the hell you gave me blood?" He asked through gritted teeth. She gulped in fear & took a step back but he caught her hand & pulled her closer to him.
"I... I... You... You were fighting for you life... Aunty... was crying... I didn't know what to do... So I... I am sorry... I know you hate me... But I didn't ..."
"Hush! Calm down! I m not going to shout at you..."
"Really?"
"Why you are so scared of me?"
"You intimidate me... always" she said softly.
He smiled lovingly at her which made her smile back at him too.
"Come closer to me" he said.
"Hun?"
sighing he tugged her hand & she leans forward to him.
"You gave me this life so its YOURS!" he whispered near her ear. She jerked back & looked at him in shock & in surprise. "I give you the right to take this life away from me because it no more belongs to me."
"What?"
"Yes, It's your. Only yours! You can do whatever you please to do with my life. Even you can kill my life" he said with utter sincerity not knowing one day that will come true. That she will take his life away from him brutally.
"What do you mean?" she asked in confusion.
"My life belongs to you, Madhu... from now & forever" he emphasis the words.
"But you hate me" she stated.
"That I still do. I love to hate you... & only I can hate you with a passion." he smirked.
"So you love me?" she asked.
"I didn't tell anything like that." he said squeezing her hand. "But I know you love me" he said with utter confidence.
"What? But how?" she asked wondering how he knew about her feelings.
"If you don't then you wouldn't be sticking to me like a leech taking all my tantrums & hateful words." he said with a chuckle. "Ouch!"
"What? What happened?" she asked worried.
"It hurts when I laugh" he told her.
"Oh! And hun... I m not a leech..." she pouted cutely making him laugh again & he abruptly stopped wincing again which made Madhu's eyes teary. She loved him so much to see him in pain."Its just I like you & I want to befriend with you... that's it... nothing else" she said in choked voice not liking to let him know about her love before he confesses.
"So you don't want me?" he asked. She shook her head & a lone tear escaped from her eyes.
"Look at my eyes & tell me, Madhu" he insisted but she held her head down silently crying.
"Stop crying... for me" he scolded her.
"I can't! I nearly lost you" she sobbed loudly now.
"Madhu, I am feeling tired & sleepy..."
"You sleep then" she wiped her tears with a back of her hand & adjust his pillow & pulled the covers over him.
"Before that I want you to accept my offer"
"What?"
"My life"
"Okay! I will take it"
"When?" he asked grinning.
"No! No! I won't take it..."
"You won't?"
"Um...I mean... I won't take your like... but you... I will take you in my life... because I love you" she said nervously & he smile a heart melting smile. She leaned forward & kissed his forehead lovingly.
(End of Flashback)
"I remember" Madhu said shyly. "But you didn't propose me... you just said 'your life belonged to me'" She wanted to forget the dreadful day she almost lost the love of her life but she couldn't as it was the same day she got him back... all to herself.
"That's not enough for you? I gave my life to you? What more you want?" Rk asked in shock.
"I want to hear that three magical words from you" Madhu asked looking at him cutely.
"Hmmm..."
"What?"
"I am thinking whether to grant your wish or not"
"Pretty please" she pleaded him with her puppy eyes.
"I... Love..." he traces his finger circling her eyes. "...this mesmerizing eyes"
"I love this cute button nose" he runs his nose down hers.
"I love this sweet strawberry lips" he quickly pecked her luscious lips. Her breathe quickens. She anticipated for him to say 'I love you' to her
"Above all... I love this" he pressed his finger at the center of her chest. "Your heart. So pure & so filled with love... love for me" he said looking straight at her. She smiled happily.
Then he took her hand in his & from his inner jacket pocket he took a ring.
"I love you, Madhu" he said with love shinning in his eyes & slipped the ring in her finger. She threw her hands around his neck & cried hugging him.
"I love you too, Rishu" she said & kissed his cheek.
"Here. Put this for me" he produced a similar gold band to her to put for him. She happily slipped the ring in his finger & kissed his hand.
"Don't remove it" he ordered.
"But papa will find..." she asked worriedly.
"No, Madhu. If you love me truly then don't take this ring off ever in your life & I won't too" he promised her.
"Rishu... try to understand. I will put this ring once we let our family know about our love & officially get engaged."
"We will let them know now"
"No!"
"Why?"
"We are still young. Just 20 years! We will wait a little longer. Papa won't trust to hand over my responsibilities to you before you stand on your own feet."
"But you trust me nah, Madhu?"
"Yes. I do"
"Then no questions. If your dad or my parents question about these rings then we will tell them the truth. I don't want to hide our relationship anymore & pretend we hate each other."
"Okay" she agreed reluctantly. But still scared of what could be their families reaction.
"Baby, just relax. Everything will be fine." he hugged her & kissed the top of her head.
"Rishu? Will you ever kiss me on my lips?" she asked him. He used to kiss her cheek or her forehead. If by any chance he kiss her lip then it will always be a quick peck but no deep proper kiss for which she yearned.
"Of course, Baby" he smiled at her. She smiled happily & tipped her head up inviting him to kiss but he put his finger on her lips.
"No! Not now. Not before our marriage"
"Why?" she asked disappointed. He sighed not knowing how to answer her.
"Tell me?"
"Madhu, for years I have been having dreams..."
"Dreams? What kind of?" she asked narrowing her eyes.
"Dirty dreams... like doing naughty things to you in bed..." he said cheekily.
"God! Rishu... you are so bad" she hid her face on his chest to hide her blush.
"So I don't want to tempt the urge by kissing your lips... I sure s hell I won't be able to stop further if I start kissing on your lips." he said honestly.
"Okay, baba! I will never ask for a kiss before we get married..."
"You can... only if you are ready to give me your V-card before marriage"
"No! No! No!" Madhu shrieked & get off his lap & stood up.
"It's time! Lets go home. I will see you tomorrow in college"
"Why? You won't come to my house for breakfast?"
"Why? To bully me & make me upset?"
"No! To show this ring to my Mom?" he winked at her.
"Shut up! If they notices & asks we will answer or else lets keep our relationship under wrap."
"God! What am I going to do with this girl?" Rk groaned.
"Nothing for now. You are just going to drop me home" she ordered.
"Yes, Madame" he bowed & took her back to her home.

(Next day in College)
Madhu was waiting for Rk in the back of their college where no one will come. They use that place as their secret hideout.
*where r u? Am waiting! * Madhu text Rk after waiting for him for 5 minutes. Usually it was he who comes first & wait for her as he never attends his classes fully.
*In canteen * he replied.
*Oh! Get me diet coke tin, please *
*Already got it, Babe * he replied. She smiled reading it.
When she looked up her classmate Sultan was staring at her.
"Hey Sultan" Madhu smiled politely.
"Hi Madhu" he said & took a step close to her.
"Um..." Madhu felt uneasy with his closeness.
"I want to tell you something" he started.
"What?" she asked looking at him. He leaned close to her breathing on her neck making her flinch.
"I love you, Madhu" Sultan whispered.
"What? No!" she pushed him away gently & took a step backward.
"Madhu, please. Since the very first day you joined this college I have been in love with you but I could pluck the courage to tell you... but now I told you... & hope you will accept my love." he pleaded & held her hand.
"Sultan, leave me" she struggled.
"You don't have to tell your answer now. Take your time!"
"Sultan... please... leave my hand. I don't love you. I love someone else"
"Don't lie to me, Madhu"
"I am not lying"
"Who?" he asked in a serious tone.
"That's none of your business."
"Tell me who?" he growled at her.
"You are mad. Stay away from me" Madhu shouted at him & walked back. Before Sultan could take a step forward, a coke tin landed straight on his face & the contents inside the tin splashed on his face.
"Ouch!" he cupped his bleeding nose with his hand.
"Rishu..." Madhu rushed to him & hugged him.
"Did that creep touched you?" Rk asked, his eyes filled with fury.
"He only touched my hand"
"Which hand?" he asked. She showed her right hand to him. He took the other coke tin & washed her hand with coke.
"Hey you! she is my girl... so dare you touch her again ever in your life... then I will kill you... & I mean it!" he growled at him. He nodded his head & mumbled a 'sorry' to them & walked away.
"You okay?" Rk asked madhu.
"Yes" she said & hugged him again.
"Come, Lets go & get another coke for us." He said coolly & took her hand in his & walked back to the canteen.
