3 months later
"Husband wake up, it's past your breakfast time "said madhu to her sleeping husband Rishabh.
"Arghh why won't you leave me alone are you going to avenge me all my life "he asked still with closed eyes but with irritation visible in his voice clearly making madhu chuckle at his childishness. "Come on husband it's already two weeks now since we got married n look at you still cribbing, you shd. Have just let me tell everyone the truth n you cld. Have got spared from my torture ", she replied casually as if it was the most easiest thing to do in world.
Hearing her, stupid talks he finally opened his eyes n gave a death glare to her which sent shivers down her spine.
"You know what ms. Madhubala you r the most pathetic creature of the world First you blackmailed me to marry you n now you talk as if going to jail isn't difficult. Do you have any idea what wld. Have happened to your family, your reputation?. he asked with anger evident in his voice n she looked sadly at him n replied "atleast you wld. Have got justice in that way with your culprit being punished "n glancing at him one last time that he was settled properly on the wheel chair she walked out of their room leaving him deep in his thoughts. He closed his eyes n recalled how he had to agree to marry her to save her.
Flashback
It has been two n half months since that unfateful night everything has changed especially the two souls who are beyond hurt.
One is grieving in guilt n for her lost love n the other well for the outer world he is still a smiling rishabh but from inside he only knows how broken he is feeling n what type of turmoil he is going through. Rishabh started going back to his work after one month of rest. Being the ceo he Cldnt rest all his life now can he. His legs might have stopped working but the passion for his work was still alive in him n shall always be there. The doctor suggested him to use wheel chair n he agreed as he can't be dependent on his parents all his life. His parents were hesitant at first but rishabh reassured them that he wld. Be fine n there are lots of people in this world who sit on wheelchair n work. Wheel char became his new legs n he got habitual of it in no time n all his office staff was happy to see their boss in work again. Only thing missing was his precious smile bcoz no matter how much happy he showed himself from outside the pain of hurt betrayal never left him. The wounds from stab got healed with time but the wounds on his heart were still afresh like they were just given yesterday.Madhus resignation was shocker to everyone including rks parents but it was only a relief to rk bcoz he no longer had the courage to see her face. But there wasn't a single day when both of them didn't missed each other. A part of rishabh understood her love for her sister but the another part who loved her crazily was hurt that she was never herself with him, it was all fake from start. He had forgiven her for the stab but what he wasn't able to forget was her words, those deep hateful words have made a image in his head everytime he sleeps in night he get the nightmares of that incident. No medicine was able to cure his mind n heart n how will it be as they were embarked by a person who was so close to him who had the power so strong to turn him into ashes n indeed he had become ash now n only she had the capability to make him a man again who cld. Love n trust.
Radhaji was sitting in a gloomy mood thinking abt. Her sons future. A mother in her was hell worried for rishabh he might say that he is fine but a mother has a power to look into their children's soul n rishabh has always been the one close to both of his parents. Even if he got a slight cold his parents used to turn the whole house upside down n how won't they worry when their son has just survived death n he is not even ready to involve police in the matter n even doesn't want to know who did that to him.
"What happened to you Radha, is rishabh okay "mohan kundra asked his wife sitting beside her. He just came from his morning walk n saw his wife sitting in a gloomy mood. "You think that if rishabh wasn't ok also he wld. Ever tell us ",she asked with depressed voice. "That is what I am worried abt. That he won't ever tell us his worries even if he is dying inside he won't ever show us his pain that is why I was thinking if we cld. Get him married atleast there wld. Be someone to take care of him for how long we might live I dnt want my son to be alone in his life "he replied with tears in his eyes." But who will marry him after all this which father will agree to give their daughter to someone who can't... She Cldnt complete her sentence n broke in sobs.
"I ll marry rishabh sir" Madhu who came to meet rishabh heard their talks n with a determine voice said "i ll marry him n take care of him all my life I promise you both I ll never let him alone,so do I have your blessings "she asked hesitantly looking at their blank expressions.
"But madhu what abt. Your parents you shdnt take decisions in haste n after all you have to spend your whole life with him " radhaji replied although she always wanted to have madhu as their dil but now the things have changed so she felt really hesitant. "Aunty dnt worry abt. Them they would only be glad to have a Sil like rk sir" Madhu replied confidently bcoz she already had a talk with her parents abt. Everything the next morning after leaving rk. They have been ashamed of her acts n wanted to apologize to rk but she stopped them telling abt. Rks last words n she didn't wanted to hurt him anymore by going against his words so she even tried to stay away from him but everyday was like he'll for her n today finally giving up she thought she ll talk to him n beg him to take her back bcoz" he might not need her but she needs him by her side bcoz finally Madhubala realized what it's to be irrevocably in love with some one " and hearing rks parents words she had only one motive to win her love her rk back at any cost. The kundras smiled n gave her their consent but also the worry was there on what will rk answer.
Knowing rk madhu took the matters in her hands n decided to talk to him on her own. Gathering her courage she knocked on his room door n entered after hearing his reply. He was sitting on the couch reading a file so he didn't noticed her entering in his room. She cleared her throat to gain his attention n he looked at her shocked. There eyes locked with each other n rk noticed that she had lost weight n looked so pale. She gave him a weak smile which brought him out of his thoughts. Gaining his composure
"What the hell are you doing over here? "he asked coldly although inside he was afraid for some unknown reason. "umm can we talk it's important " she replied hesitantly.
"What is there to talk now ? "
She sat down on her knees infront of him n joining her hands said "i cant live without you please forgive me, take me back rishabh I am dying in guilt everyday I thought i cld. move on from you n it was just my misdeed which is making me think abt. You all the time but truth to be told I have fallen in love with you deeply, madly crazily in your words I am irrevocably in love with you. I know you dnt need me by your side but I need you in my life by my side I want to wake up seeing your face in morning I want to see you wen I go to sleep I want you in my life. Please marry me i promise I ll mend your heart with my love trust n care. Please accept me she begged".
"Stop this melodrama of yours now n get out of my house n my life. After everything you want me trust you to marry you like seriously do u think me as a love sick fool to trust you again n let you destroy me "he said with hurt evident in his voice n she could feel his pain. "You know i dreamt so much for us but you just spoiled it in a day then how do you expect me to trust you again with my life ".
She got up from floor n came near him n tried to touch his face but he flinched away n her hand dropped on her sides. "I did this to you " she asked him but it was more of a reply to herself.
"I flinch away when anyone tries to touch me "he said closing his fists. Tears flowed from her eyes to his hand n he looked away.
"Nothing can be more painful when your love flinched away from your touch. "
"I ll go tell everything to your parents "she replied blankly. "Are you mad they will hate u n probable send you jail "he replied worriedly. "Then marry me n let me cure you "."Are you blackmailing me "he asked now getting angry at her childishness.
"I was suggesting but if u think of it as a blackmail then so be it " she replied with determination. She knew if she had to make him agree she had to try this way bcoz no way in hell he would let her go in prison. He gave her a death glare n said "You love torturing me dnt you? ""trust me this is last torture for you ".
He knew if he says no then truth will come out n it won't do any good n he doesn't have it in him to see her in prison. After full five minutes he replied "fine I ll marry you but I have conditions.
Firstly you won't touch me like ever secondly we won't have any sort of relation inside this bedroom n lastly if you ever try to hurt my parents then that would be the last day of you in my house. And one more thing we ll go for register marriage which would be done here.",he completed n she gave him a big smile n said "thank you thank you so much rk I love you I really do I ll prove you that I m not faking my love n you can trust me n also u ll never regret marrying me, now I ll go n tell your n my parents they wld. Be so happy "she completed in one breath. He glared at her n she knew that he was glaring for including his parents in this mess n before he cld. Reply she ran ouof his room making him furious.
Much to rishabh irritation their parents decided to get them married in two days n that is how madhu became his wife through register marriage followed by a small get together dinner for both families. Rk was happy to see trishna n they chatted a lil n trish asked him to reconsider abt. Madhu to which he just nodded but she knew it will happen only wen time comes.
From next morning itself madhu started her mission Win rk back in full fom much to his annoyment. She would make his breakfast,take out his clothes for office,even polish his shoesn then like a dutiful wife bring his lunch to office n would sit on his head until he won't eat n have his medicines n then at night she would prepare his favorite. Dinner too n wldnt eat until he was done. Then in their room she would start her non stop chattering abt. How she spend her whole day n how missed him. N much to his annoyance she bought a stupid oil to massage his legs n wen he said that he won't let her apply she wore gloves n applied it saying that it will make his legs strong. Rk Cldnt even say a word bcoz the smell would irk him so much but he thought it was better to be quiet rather than dying from annoying fragrance. And before going to sleep on her side of bed she would say those three words to him which he always wanted to hear but hearing them now hunted him.
"I love you ".
Flashback ends.
Rk came out of his thoughts hearing his phone ring seeing the caller I'd he sighed n picked upn started talking,
"i want to meet you its urgent I have a problem I want to discuss with you. "hearing the reply from other side he said "ok I ll meet you at our old hangout place just dnt tell mom dad that you r meeting me they ll get worried. I ll see you in an hour. Bye "
He cuttd the call n sighed in relief "hope I get over this "he whispered to himsel n went to get ready.
