THE COMEBACK
Honestly, I'd decided I won't marry when my show is on, since I wanted to enjoy that time with family, friends. Madhubala ended at the right time and everything went off smoothly. Initially, I thought I won't do Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani as it was to start in February, the same month I was to get married in. But now that the shooting started in June, it just worked out perfectly. It's a great feeling to be back shooting.

THE MARRIAGE 'AFTERMATH'
Things have not changed really, it's just that earlier I used to stay with my mom, now I stay with my in-laws. Luckily, they are so chilled out and cool, it doesn't feel like I'm away from home. The transition has been smooth.

BEING IN VADODARA
The promo of the show has been shot in Vadodara inside the Laxmi Vilas Palace. On her experience of shooting there, Drashti said, "The Laxmi Vilas Palace is very beautiful and I will definitely visit again, but in a better weather." Drashti also gorged on the Gujarati thali, khichu, purchased lehariya dupatta, at the market and enjoyed the cultural side of the Banyan City.
