There is lot of confusion regarding which show the long awaited Drashti Dhami led Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani will replace. Now according to sources it is final that it will take Quabool Hai's place at the vaunted 9.30 pm super prime time slot from 27th July which in turn will be shifted to the 7.30 pm slot. Since the 7.30 pm slot is currently occupied by Hamari Prathiba, so it will go off air. Such an eventuality was not unexpected give the low ratings of the above Nilima Bajpai produced show.
The source said the channel did a lot of deliberations regarding the slotting of Ek Tha Raja, at first it was speculated that it will replace Jodha Akbar at 8pm. But then the channel decided to zero on at 9.30 pm as they have lots of expectations from this Sphere Origin production. The source added that the Ekta Kapoor produced historical too will end soon and might be replaced by some new show.
As regarding Quabool Hai our khabru quipped it, has always given good numbers so the channel is hopeful that it will have enough steam to take on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Sasural Simar Ka in the heavy duty early evening time slot.
We tried to call up Siddhanth Karnick to confirm the news, but he was unavailable for comment.
