Dark shadow Part 5

Madhu can't find RK.She goes to her classroom.She is dull.

In the evening,Madhu sees RK coming out of the classroom.Her face blossoms like a flower.RK smiles.
MADHU:Let us go to a classroom.
They go to an empty classroom.
Madhu:Yesterday why did you leave so early?
RK:Yesterday was my sister Palchan's birthday.She is my pet.
She:Wow!You have a sister?Even i have a sister.Meher.She is my twin sister.
He is surprised:So Seeta aur Geeta?
She:No,we are not identical twins.Meher studies in the engineering college.Very serious.A complete book worm.Very studious.By the way..your song was too good.I never knew that you are a good singer.
MADHU:What i sang is with honesty.I sang those lines for you.Pehli nazar mein
Kaise jaado kar diya..You did some magic and stole my heart at the first sight itself.
Madhu is shocked:What are you saying?
RK:Yes,I mean it.
He goes closer to Madhu.He is very close to her.She feels his breath.He feels her odour.
RK:I love you Madhu.
She raises her eyebrows and looks at him.
RK:I will wait for your reply.
He goes away.
Madhu smiles slowly.

The students go for excursion.
They play Antakshari.Now it is Madhu's turn.She looks at RK.Her eyes glow.
She sings:Pehla pehla pyar hai..{Hum aapke hain kaun}.
RK smiles.

Madhu goes to her hostel room.In the dim light she is shocked to see RK.
MADHU:RK!What are you doing here?Don't you know that it's for girls?
RK:Yes,i know.
MADHU:Then why are you here?Go...
RK:I will go.But before that i want to hear something from you.You sang the song "Pehla pehla pyar hai..."Does that mean that you have fallen in love for the first time?
She blushes.
RK notices it.
RK:That means you love me?
She shakes her head with shyness.He smiles.
RK:Now i'm happy.I will go before someone catches me.
She smiles.He leaves the room.

RK goes to the terrace.He sees Madhu near him.He smiles.They both dance to the song 'Maula Mere Maula...' from the film 'Anwar'.The rain pours down.The rain pours emotion.Then he realises that it was his imagination.

They all return home after the excursion.

Madhu goes to RK:RK.
MADHU:Tonight my dad has arranged a party at home.I don't know the reason.Anyways you should also come for the party.
RK::Sure.

Party...
Madhu has worn a decorated maroon choli with matching ornaments.
Meher has worn a cream colour saree with pearl ornaments.She looks simple and beautiful.
RK enters the party hall.He has worn a grand light maroon shervani.
Madhu goes near him.
RK can't take his eyes off her:You look like a princess.Gorgeous.
MADHU:You look like a prince.
They both smile.
MADHU:I will show my sister to you.
Madhu brings Meher to RK.
MADHU:This is my dearest sister Meher.This is RK.
M:RK?Who is...?
Madhu doesn't know what to say.
RK::Why are you hiding it from Meher?Meher...i will tell you who i am.I'm Madhu's senior in the college.We love each other.
Meher is surprised:Madhu!
Madhu is embarassed.
M:I knew that you are in love.From your face i could make out...you have chosen a nice guy.I know RK before itself.
Madhu is surprised.
MADHU:What?
M:Like RK i'm also a music lover.Right?We met each other during a music concert.We are quite good friends also.
MADHU:That's a real surprise.
RK::I did'nt know that Madhu is your sister Meher.
They smile.

Meher sings the song 'Aye Ho Meri Zindagi Me Tum BaRK: Banke..'{Raja Hindustani}.
RK::Beautiful Meher...you sang so beautifully.
M:Thanks RK.

Their dad Vinayak announces:This party is to inform everyone that I have fixed my daughter Meher's marriage with the successful business man Preet.
Meher and Madhu are shocked.
V:Preet..please come forward.
From the crowd a cheerful fair guy comes forward.He is Preet.
V:Meher..you come here.
Slowly slowly Meher goes and stands near Preet.Preet smiles at her.But Meher can't smile.Preet feels awkward.

After the party...
Meher to Vinayak: Without asking me,why did you fix my marriage?You announced it before others also.
V:If i ask you,you will tell that you can't marry now,because you want to study.
M:Why do you want me to marry so soon?
V:The astrologer told me that your wedding should be done immediately.As a father,it's my responsibility to conduct your wedding.
Meher looks upset.

Meher is sitting alone.Madhu goes near her:Trust our dad.He has found a good guy for you.You can study after marriage also.
M:That is not the only problem.
MADHU:Then?
M:I'm in love.
Madhu is shocked:Are you joking?I can't believe that a studious girl like you can fall in love.Don't try to fool me.I know you very well.
Madhu is giggling.
M:No,i'm serious.I'm in love.
Madhu can't believe it.
