Chapter 2

Madhu's POV

I took a quick shower and dressed in a jeans with a sleevless top and wrapped a scarf around my neck, I brushed my hair and walked down to help mom... "Madhu!! You here!!" My mom surprisingly asked as I walked in the kitchen... Yes!! It was shocking thing as I never stepped in the kitchen "Umm!! No mumma, actually I.. I was just checking you whether you have done making breskfast or not... I'm getting late for college, it's my first day..." I quickly manages to say and checked my watch once... "Yes, you go and join the table... I'm coming.." Mumma replied, I followed her instruction and walked to the dinning table where dad already seated, we exchanged a glace and quickly I took a chair and started checking my facebook updates in my cell when suddenly dad coughed, may be he is grabbing my attention, I looked up at him "Do you want to ask anything dad??" I asked while passing him a glass of water, he sipped the water "Have.. Have you decide anything??" Ahh!! Still he sounds rude.. But whatever!! "First I want to meet with the guy and his family... Later I'll decide..." I looked up at dad meanwhile mom too join us, they are staring at me with wide eyes, I gave them a 'what' look when they shook their head and dad replied "As you wish darling, we have an invitation tomorrow, you can meet with them... But I don't think after the meeting, you'll take time for finalize your decision as you know him very well..." I just look at them confuse "I know him??" I asked back... "Surprise darling!!" Dad replied with a mischevious smile.. What the hell... I don't like this kind of surprise.. "Whatever!!" I rolled my eyes and take a leave from there...

I was driving my car from my house to college but dad's words were ringing in my ear "I know him!! Who can he be??" I murmured, I was so lost in my thoughts that I couldn't see the traffic signal... But thank god I was driving slowly that I hit a car.. "Oh shit..." I jerk out from my thoughts and instantly get down from my car to check how much it get damaged, luckily only head lights get damaged but wait.. What the hell the back lights of the another car get damaged... I bang my head with my palm and cursed my luck... I looked all around when I saw a short height man come out from car "Can't you see silly girl??" He started yelling on me... Err!! He is shouting like a.. Forget it.. "Sir, look!! It happen mistakenly, I'm ready to pay the compensation..." I tried my best to make him understand but he again started yelling "Are you showing me your money??" I scrunch my eyes as when I mean it, silly man, he started giving me lectures when a traffic police arrived there, thank god he arrived!! "What's the matter!!" I explained him everything when he said stictly "Don't create crowd here!! Solve your problem somewhere else.. Or I'll take you both to the police station..." "Sorry sir.." The short height man apologized so I did and get inside my car... I was passing from that black marcedes when I glaced once, I could sense someone was sitting inside but I couldn't see his face as the glass was closed, I shook my head and left from there...

I parked my car at the parking slot and just called Trishna... "Can't you even let me sleep at night maddy??" She asked sleepily as well irately... Oops!! I called her at wrong time... "I'm sorry babe!! But you know tomorrow I'm going to meet with him.." "Hm!!" She humed only which annoyed me so I hung up the call and walked inside my new college campus...

Err!! It was so boring class, I was feeling better before, at least I had some interest to learn... I was just looking here and there and lazily counting the heads when professor called me and soon throw me out of the class, I sighed in relief, as it was better to not attend the class... I was counting the trees standing near the class room when I saw a guy came out with his bag and walked to me... "Counting trees??" He asked, first I felt strange but later I replied "Yes!! This is the better thing to do right now..." He laughed on my words and I too smiled... "Well, I'm Karan!!" He forward his hand, I exchange a smile and shake hand with him friendly introducing myself "Madhu!! Madhubala..." [P]---------------
