PREFACE
"BIWI", roared RK "I demand that you wake up this instant, how long will you sleep? Everyone is waiting for you from a long time and you are busy with your beauty sleep". But no response came from her. Tears started forming in his eyes, "Biwi, please at least open your eyes for Me.", he said desperately, but still she did not even move. "Madhu, please, I know that I have wronged you and I am not even worth your forgiveness, but don't show your anger on me on yourself." He said holding her hand, "I cannot live without you". Suddenly he saw a movement in her hand. "Madhu!!!!" he said surprised. Her eyelids started opening slowly. "DOCTOR!!!!" RK yelled, at once the doctor along with his assistants. "What happened mr.kundra??" they asked him, Rk pointed them to madhu who was having difficulty adjusting to the light. The doctors looked surprised as they haven't expected such a fast recovery from her in spite of RK's threats and tantrums they knew very well that madhu's recovery was difficult and almost impossible. After recovering from their shock, they quickly checked all the instruments to make sure that she is safe and does not have any complications.
"So Madhubala how do you feel now?" asked doctor Mehta, the head doctor. "I am fine", she said glancing at the doctor. Then she turned her gaze at RK, when her eyes met his, RK couldn't help but smile. He held her hand gently but she removed it off with a jerk instantly, making his disappointed.
"Doctor, I want to meet my Mom." she said, the doctor agreed to her request immediately and called her family in. Padmini, roma, trishna, Malik and radha entered the room and started pampering her and telling her how they got scared. RK who had been a silent spectator till now started losing his patience as he wanted to hold her in his arms and tell her how much he loves her and how much he got scared and worried seeing her in that condition. But, she kept ignoring him as if he was dirt. Finally, he lost his patience and he sat next to her which earned him angry glares from everyone in the room, but he ignored them all and said, "Biwi...how are you feeling now?", but madhu withdrew her hand from him and asked him questioningly' Who are you and why are you calling me biwi?". RK got shocked hearing her but nevertheless he grabbed her hand and said, "I am your husband dammit". Madhu looked at him shocked and said, "Husband?? When was I married?"
