This is regarding your show Madhubala EK Ishq Ek Junoon which recently went off air in Colors TV. I'm a bit late but there are a few things I would like to point out to you which resulted in its downfall. I don't have to tell you about your own show but it seems like you had total amnesia where this show was concerned. I understand there was a split in partnership n you took over MB while your partner took over Rangrasiya. This resulted in news set of creatives for the show. What I don't understand is isn't it a rule to do your homework before you start a project. How can the new team completely ignore what was shown in the previous episodes n give us something which is totally illogical. Did your writer even read the previous scripts before writing the flashback scene after the leap.
Madhu acted in only one film with RK but it was shown as if she acted in three films.
RK n Madhu were killed when their daughter was about 3 months old during the namakaran celebrations n not on her first birthday has shown.
From when did madhu become so selfish that she wanted to do a film on her life story. She was such a soft soul who could only think about others n her RK. Yes, she would have surely wanted a film done on RK but never herself.
RK could never say NO to madhu under any circumstance. You showed him to be freaking Indian soap hero which he never was.
Madhu hated acting n was never involved the film industry. She only wanted to be RK's wife. Instead it was shown as if she was enjoying her life as an actress.
Even the media was making fun of Mb saying how the producers forgot their own story.
Coming to the leap, we appreciate your intention to bring back Vivian but I wonder whose idea it was to bring a village background. KRK was only for a short period n Vivian excelled in his portrayal as KRK. Does a villager's son need to be a villager? Does Vivian look like a villager to you? He is the most handsome actor of tv world according MB fans. He has the Greek God looks according to the media. Where does the villager roll fit in all this? U could have shown like KRK sold all his lands to educate his son n he came to Mumbai to save madhu from Abay kapoor . It was RK N madhu who helped KRK but sadly this truth never came out till the end. You never bothered to connect the past n the present. Rk n madhu's death was never justified. The culprits were never punished, the vamps were never exposed (both dipali n agni), too many negative n regressive tracks, no idea what happened to RK's property, what happened to malik family,the list goes on n on...
Drashti n Vivian are two gorgeous looking actors. U made them look cheap. Mother madhu was so beautiful in her anarkali n silk suits but the daughter was made to look like a joker with specs. I am forced to compare Qubool hai with Madhubala in this place. QH also took a 20 year leap along with MB but see how they r progressing with the story. The mother n daughter roles r played by the same actress. The daughter is made to look more beautiful than the mother but in MB it was the reverse. Drashti was given 3 sarees while Vivian were given 3 shirts n was made to shot the next 4 months with the same clothes. Pathetic.
I would like to know who the director n the editor of this serial was towards the end. Please don't tell me it was Mr. Ravindra Gautam. We have seen his direction before the leap. This was some trainee behind the camera n the scissors. Secondly this show would have broken all records for using body doubles. The first 3 days in a week we will see Vivian with Drashti's BD, the next 3 days it will be Drashti with Vivian's BD. The last day of the week will be DVD together in one frame. Sir, we r not willing to waste 1/2 hr of our time daily to watch our favourites with their BDs. This was a real put off.
Mr. Shukla, if you did not have a team to support you then why did you take up such a project. Don't u know your viewers. We only wanted strong n positive story line n this show would have done wonders. It was doing much better than the other fiction shows of colors. That was the power of MEIEJ. We trusted u when u said u wanted to make MEIEJ famous again. But alas! It never happened. You had two gorgeous looking talented actors in your hands, an already famous show, a strong fan base, numerous stories in the forum which u could have copied, What more do you want? Do you have any idea what u have lost? Do you think u can do a better job in another serial with other actors? When u can't achieve heights with Drashti n Vivian as leads, I'm sorry, then u have no place in the tv industry. Period.
You have moved on, the channel has forgotten Mb it is only the fans who r suffering still. We r not able to let go or forget our show, our RK n our madhubala. For us the bomb did not go off, Rishabh n madhu r not dead. They r living somewhere happily with their three children in their dream house. The last scene in our hearts n mind is their last dance. The rest all can go to hell!
Sorry for the long rant but somebody had to tell u how u killed our beloved show.
