Yes ... Better direction and story is the compulsory thing ... DVD didn't work as rajbala means rishabala were hit coz of story and direction ...

I don't think that DVD had chemistry but it was Rishbala the couple which had great chemistry. Even DVD were totally bland as Rajbala because the writing and their characters were pathetic. Similarly Abhay and Piya the characters had crackling chemistry and not the actors. So if the characters are written amazingly in the new shows then they might have better chemistry and if they are pathetically written like Rajbala then they won't have chemistry, simple.

RajBala weren't given a proper storyline which would keep the fans hooked now did they? 😳
Bland, yes! definitely! but with a good storyline, they would have been just as amazing as RishBala ! 😆

yes thats what m telling only with EYELOCKS they have created fire.but in Rajbala case they didnt create fire bcoz there was only bd hug,bd eyelocks.

I see a lot of tele couples who fail to bring in the good stuff onscreen even with a good script ! 😕
at least 50% of the credit goes to DVD for acing the roles flawlessly ! mind you, even with a lame script! at times :D talking about season 1 now ! 😆

saw them for the first time in MB only! that is why I will forever be faithful and loyal to DVD and RishBala ! they brought in soo much passion and heat onscreen without any actual X rated stuff ! 😆

Voted for the last option, but if there had been a 'Hopefully almost as good' option, would have voted for that - want to see the glow of 4+ TRP for their future roles, so mass-popular pairing would help for that.⭐️
For almost 18 months, I've seen hardly a few entire MEIEJ episodes without skipping some scene - and still kept watching with the sound on mute sometimes, only because DVD was the pairing.😭
But also want them to be individually successful, so would want their other pairings to also be very popular, with huge enough viewership-amounts loving the roles and the resultant generous budget.
Sorry, the mostly tight-budget of this series and limited clothes and expenses even affects my hopes for their future roles. 😆 😕
But truly would be pleasantly shocked if any future pairing could match the DVD mass-appeal hugely enough to force channels to backtrack to keep the couple unparted so many times despite enthusiastic offscreen efforts.😳
And very selfishly fannishly, want DVD paired together again in future, though not in a story like MEIEJ. Hopefully they would be amenable to repeating the pairing if a suitably mass-appealing and financially worthwhile story comes up (they might be willing to compromise, but wouldn't be fair to want that).🤔 😃 😳

well DVD as Rajbala didnt work only bcoz of bodydoubles.i was frustated at times to see bd hug n eyelocks.i mean c'mon dd hugged bd of vd,vd did eyelocks with bd.grrr.n 1 more thing without any 1 promos,1 repeats we still went to 3rd in colors.why only bcoz of dvd.
