Rishabh is feeling highly bored today.

It's 7:30 PM at Kundra mansion. A small crowd has formed in the Hall of mansion as today is renowned businessman Mr Mohan Kundra's elder son Sikky's birthday. So the party is mostly crowded by little kids n their parents. Some of them r Mr Kundra's friends n partners n some others r his children Sikky n Dipali's school mates. All were having chit-chat n waiting for the little princes n princess to come n cut the cake. Dipali n Sikky are twin brother-sister n Rishabh is the youngest in the family. But none of his friends are invited in party as he used to be in boarding school. He doesn't have any friend in Simla, their home town. He's 7 years old n Sikky n Dipali's friends are 5-6 years older than him so he can't catch up with them. Being disappointed he was sitting at a corner with a sad face.

"Hey Rishu meet with Madhu. Ye tumhare Dad k best friend ki beti hai.." Radhaji, Rishabh's mother, introduced a little girl with a beautiful tiny red frock, red satin ribbon n matching pair of crib shoes. She seemed to be Rishabh's age n was smiling very sweetly at him. Rishabh's face instantly lit up with a similar cute smile. He loved this Barbie doll like girl at very first glance. She has a big doe-eyes n milky chubby cheeks which he wished a lot to pull!!

Rishu: hey mai Rishabh Kundara hun. Par sab mujhe pyaar se Rishu bulate hai..

Madhu: mai Madhubala Malik hun..sab mujhe Madhu bulate hai.

Rishu: humare dad tumahre Dad k dost hai toh kyun na hum bhi dost ban jaye??

Madhu: han..meri yahan koi dost bhi nehi hai. Mai ish sahar me new hun na ish liye..

Rishu: mera bhi nehi hai. Mai boarding school me thi na ish liye.

Madhu: tum boarding school me kyun the? Tum bohot badmash ho kya? (She frowned a bit)

Rishu: haan bachpan me thi. (he said lowering his gaze) par ab nehi hun..

Madhu: haan tum bohot sweet ho..(she smiled again at him)

Rishu: toh hum friends? ( he stretched his hand)

After thinking some time MAdhu also hold his hands n said "Friends.." Both of them smiled n blushed.

Rishu: tum meri 1^st girl friend ho. Mai boys' school me hun na toh mera koi girl mate nehi hai.

Madhu: tum meri second boy friend ho. Meri 1^st boy friend hai Mukku. Who meri pehli school me tha. But I didn't like him much. ( She said raising her nose showing disgust for that Mukku guy!)

Rishu thought 'Achcha hua woh nehin hai..' for some unknown reason he felt a jealousy for Mukku as he snatched the chance of his being the 1^st boy friend of MAdhu!

They both went to the table as the cake cutting ceremony started n everyone sang 'Happy Birthday to u' All children ate the big 2 tier chocolate cake n received so many candies. Suddenly an idea came to Rishu's mind. He gave his candies to Madhu n said " ye lo'ye mere taraf se tumhari liye.."

Madhu: par kyun? Meri pas to candy hai..jada khane se meri teeth kharap ho jayegi.

Rishu: ek toh le lo na. kuch nehi hoga.. koi pyar se dete hai toh mana nehi karte.

Madhu thought for sometime then took a little one n said "thank u.."

Rishu: Achcha kya mai tumhari cheek pull kar sakti hun?

Madhu scared a bit. "Kya?? Tum mujhe hurt to nehi karoge na?"

Rishu: nehi nehi..bas halke se pull karungi. Daro mat..

Madhu: okay..kar lo. Par jorse nehi.

Rishu first caressed her cheeks then pulled it softly n they ended up giggling.

Madhu: wow..tum achche pull karte ho. Mai bhi karu?

Rishu: karo.. ( He was in cloud nine!!)

Madhu too caressed his cheeks in same manner n pulled it slowly. Then again giggled.

Rishu: achcha ab kuch naya try karte hai..

MAdhu: kya?

Rishu: umm'achcha kaisa hoga agar hum dance kare toh?

Madhu: par hum toh abhi bachche hai na?

Rishu: toh kya hua?? Khudko kabhi chota mat sochna..kuch new hoga.

Madhu: okay..par yahan nehi karungi. Agar mai gir gayi toh sab hasenge..

Rishu: thik hai chalo hum garden me chalet hai'wohan koi nehi ayega.

The two went to garden..it was beside their lawn. Really nobody was there but a light soft music was coming from the party hall.

Tu hi to meri dost hai,

Madhu: dance karne toh agaye par hum karenge kya??

Rishu: umm..achcha tum apni left hand mere kandhe par rakho.

Madhu did so n Rishu took her other hand in his hand n placed his right hand on her waist. He has seen it in TV. Popeye n Olive, his two favorite cartoon characters do it.

Madhu: arre hum toh bilkul price n princess ki tarah lag rahe hai. Cindrella bhi aise ho apne Price k saath dance kiya tha..(she said blushing)

Rishu: toh aj se mai tumhari Prince hun n tum meri Princess...

Then they both started a round-round dancing. They were enjoying it a lot. This new-found bliss was fulfilling their heart that they so lost in each other. The air filled with their giggle n sweet talks'

Raat mein chandni kabhi,
Aise gungunati hai,
Sun zara lagta hai tumse,
Aawaz milati hai,
Mein khayalon ki mehek hu,
Gungunate saaz par,
Ho sake to mila le,
Aawaz ko le saaz par..

20 yrs later..at same Kundra Mansion.

Everyone is so busy n in hurry. Today is Rishabh's wedding day. He's going to marry his best friend cum girl friend Madhubala. Rishabh is grown up as a handsome young man with a killer Greek God like body n sexy black eyes. Madhu is also grown up to a beautiful lady with a innocent angelic face n a hour-glass like figure. They both complement each other. Everyone feels envy seeing them together. They completed their schooling together, and then went to UK. Madhu to study management n Rishabh to take a film studies course. After that Madhu joined their family business of which Kundras are also a part n Rishabh has become a successful Director cum Producer. Their family knew they love each other so much n decided it's time to tie them up in a not finally.

Mohan Kundra: Rishu tum ready ho beta? Hume abhi nikalna hoga..

Rishu: haan dad..chaliye.

Mohan stared at his son some time. He's looking the dashing groom in the world. He smiled at him n hugged him tightly. Rishu too felt his dad's pride for him. He hugged him back tightly.

They went in car n drived to Malik's house. In car Rishabh called Madhu. He wasn't allowed to meet him since yesterday as there is a stupid ritual that Groom n Bride can't meet each other after Haldi ceremony. Madhu was just waiting for his call. She didn't waste a second to pick it up.

Madhu: kyun Pati?? Aj bhi late ayenge aap?

They started addressing each other as Pati n Biwi since their engagement.

Rishu: nehin biwi.. aj mujhe tum blame nehi kar sakti. Kyun ki aj late Dipali di k karan hua hai..she took so much time is finishing her touch up!!( he laughed while Dipali patted his hand playfully sitting beside him)

Madhu: hmm..unse mai bad me nipat lungi. Pehle aap bolo mari shaadi k gift kahan hai?

Rishu: shaadi k gifts who kya hota hai?

Madhu: kya?? Tumne mere liye koi gift nehi kharida??

Rishu: nehin toh..maine aj tak jo itna gift diya who kya akm hai?? (he smirked)

Madhu: dekho ye thik nehi hai..plz mujhe aj k din mat satao.

Rishu: par maine sach me kuch nehi kharidi..bhul gaya yaar shaadi k jhanjhat me!!

Madhu cut the call in anger.. ' Stupid! How can he forget about my gift?? And what he said wedding is a 'jhanjhat??' she was fuming in anger while Padmini,her mom came with a parcel.

Madhu asked her "Kisne bheja Mom?"

Padmini: (smiling) khud hi dekh lo..

Madhu saw Rishabh's name on the envelope n remembered his words in phone. 'Oh he lied to me?' she thought n opened it. There was a laminated drawing like this'
