This episode - showcasing the lead couple's husband and wife in competition for extreme stupidity and looking set to be the joint-winners as prizewinning idiots - had two points of relief and two points of extraordinary suicidal stupidity.
The track continues on the lovely viewership-crashing theme of conciliatory husband and cold wife - just what is needed to guarantee that we should remain in our current disastrous viewership-lack since the CVs exist in a progressive alternate universe where the crores of mass-audience visit occasionally in between switching the channel, thus ensuring we may continue with the achievement of the viewership steadfastly avoiding any possibility of significant millions of viewership-increase.
Hopefully Faguni gets married quickly - to anyone, since there are fortunately no eligible bachelors in the Kushwaha family - and leaves (rather than with additional headache of the husband moving into the house rather than removing her from the residence), and preferably *not* shown married to Sunny who is almost a generation younger to her.
That would be a truly strange hotchpotch pairing, even to simply pair off available supporting characters. Hopefully very avoidable.
1st point of extraordinary suicidal stupidity :-
Raja utters nonsensical idiotic engineered-dialogues about love and not force getting results.
The CVs may get amnesiac, but should perhaps try hard to remember that the only time he has got results with his perpetually disgusted, insulting and selfrighteous wife have been when he has used force and coercion, not gentleness.
Gentleness and coercion both got him the same amount of disgust and insults from her, but at least coercion got him out of jail when gentleness would not have.
2nd point of extraordinary suicidal stupidity :-
Raja decides to set aside weapons, unmindful of the fact that his hypocritically pacifist wife is approving of violence in her own defence.
It's only that she must be the one to decide the extent of retaliation (which is automatically much more if she was the one harmed or threatened, rather than anyone else harmed far more), and he may almost drown while she proves a point about how she is the one motivating him beneficially.
Had been terrified even when they were heading to the chawl for pagphera, that Raja may be well and JM may get merely winged so long as he - and preferably she also - stay armed.
But if he be stupid enough to try to please her and take the pacifist approach, then she may live just fine but he may end up struck down for following her ruinous dreamy notions of an ideal world without considering that they are not living in the clouds.
On the other hand, since he has now decided to follow her advice, fully expecting that even if he doesn't depart this world soon thanks to deciding on *lack* of weapons, any injuries will be dunderheadedly ascribed by Raja, JM and all other characters to his past violent attitude, without considering the extremely obvious part that he has been safe so long as he was violent, and struck down when he was not.
1st reasonable point of relief :-
JM decided not to have an abortion, without actually landing in the clinic or worse yet for the procedure to almost start before reversing her decision.
2nd - huge - point of relief :-
JM heard of her maternal grandmother and then her paternal grandmother racing off with the infant of each generation, and was *not* scripted as thinking she should run off - with the kid's safety as bizarre excuse - even when she's in the rather different position of being the only one intending to kill the kid.
Have learnt through exhausting and bitter experience that the CVs are capable of giving the most bizarre reasons for any nonsensical and invariably extremely mass-unappealing track, expecting the track to stand on the illusory foundation, and the certainty of the resultant tracks crashing with unreassuring consistency.
If she had been scripted as running off with the kid, the extension for the series might as well not exist, since the series could count on breaking its viewership-lack trackrecord of the past many consecutive viewership-crashing mass-unappealing tracks, with mass-audience unreassuringly sure to not watch the saga of a bizarrely separated female lead whose every action and reaction from the 2nd week of May 2014 onwards has been guaranteed to be mass-appalling and track-closing with inadequate millions of viewership.
Desperately hoping the CVs now please write a more normal story, with the leads permitted to behave like mass-appreciable leads - especially the female lead.
We have had every track have the male lead shown as villain and the female lead shown as vamp, simultaneously or taking it in turns.
Serials which try to show bahu spirited against husband and sasuraal (regardless of their conduct) always get inadequate viewership.
If the serial realizes the problem quickly, and the bahu becomes respectfully and shrewdly handling the husband and sasuraal, sorting things without going directly against them and with consideration for their notions, the TRP soars.
If the female lead is praised by husband or sasuraal, it needs to be balanced by her being extremely respectfully caring of both - without judging how deserving or undeserving they may be.
The more she judges her husband and sasuraal and doesn't cover up their flaws, the more mass-audience judges her undeserving of support, with the mass-support going to the husband by default.
Could the series please stop its invariable forcefeeding attempts and tailor the next track with care to *not* motivate mass-audience to maintain its habit of so very many months of switching the channel to watch other channels for options that don't routinely turn into progressive crusades packaged mass-appallingly?
One mass-appealing positive track which doesn't have the female lead behave mass-appallingly selfpraisingly and judgmentally and then praised by every other character in the series because mass-audience can be counted on to do anything but.
A suggestion to the CVs - please have a look at the tracks before February 2013. Preferably those weeks which had the most steadfastly increased TRP.
Separation ceased to be an option for this serial's lead pairing, since the past and current lead couple have been consecutively shown disunited/ineffective/defeated for almost entire tracks for over 16 months now.
No other series has considered the risk even remotely worthwhile of showing such consecutive negative tracks and disunited lead couple for so long, with not even a week of episodes to break the pattern.
At this point in the series, they would prudently need to be shown together for several months to make even a separation of a couple of nights apart worth risking, since the couple's emotional disunity of protracted length makes their physical proximity under one roof the only thing the series has to offer to mass-audience.
This series has managed the unique position of making conflict and negativity so mundane and depressingly skippable for mass-audience, that they might consider exercising the serial's convenient absences of logic and memory to show the couple reconcile mutually, rather than continue the progressive idea of it being from Raja's side.
If they decide to go against the basic regressive viewership-excellence point that pride is considered charming in the male lead and not in the female lead, and JM remains condescending even in reconciliation, the series may guarantee on remaining in its current lovely viewership.
And Raja can get even more mass-support for being the most loving husband to his disrespectful wife.
They are ensuring every dratted track further erodes JM's potential of shoring up approval and consequent empathy and support of the mass-audience.
It's a fictional series and fictional characters. Could they please show what mass-audience's unvaryingly consistent viewership-tastes trackrecord of year after year shows will get increased viewership and not what will not? Those tastes have not changed to suit any of the 'alag che' tracks of so very long, ensuring screentime-noncommensurate inadequate millions of viewership and consequent track-closure for every track.
Let the CVs/channel and the series show at least one track - the lead couple together in a mass-pleasing way - that can't be assured of viewership lack in the very basic track-idea. Please?
