And shonnu, TRPs started increasing continuously after unwedding! And that particular monday episode got around 4 ratings. You know the episode where RK forced Madhu to wear blue gown got 4.9 TRP😆

Phirse wrong track you're taking.. I never said that Unwedding was flop or anything.. how can I commit blasphemy by saying that? 🤣.. I said sometimes TRPs just don't make any sense.. despite of everything top notch still Unwedding week saw a major drop in TRPs.. I never said it was flop or it didn't work.. and I seriously don't have epi to epi TRP data.. also its the full week's TRPs that matter..

and why can't you be a DD pankhi for a week? kinni cute ha woh? wesa bhi Nishi thinks you're a DD phan 😆.

I know this is off-topic but I loved the unwedding twist..its shocking..and well executed

the downfall of the show started with bhai..a completely forced character..CV's failed in every track from then..otherwise they could have taken the show to next level with the unwedding twist..it has lot more potential after the love track..

Dont know why people hated the unwedding 😕

Trp audience is unpredictable...u nvr knw wht thy like...The 4 phera wedding track had rating around 1.7 only...tht ws when fr the first time media started to cry on MB rating and BL as usual went to the extent of saying tht shw will end...for me the real downfall of the shw in terms of content started with "Bhai-RK brotherhood story"...i still wonder frm where ST and GH got such illogical idea...

I agree unwedding was all twists ka baap 😆 I remember how me and my friends were banging our heads after watching that mysterious promo... and I don't think people disliked it infact many people started watching the show only after unwedding.. first Sultan and second RK's psycho behavior was what ruined it afterwards.. I loved jealous RK.. but instead of doing a catharsis on himself and realizing his feeling for Madhu in a subtle way he went completely psycho when he kidnapped Madhu and forced her to stay with him.. IMO either they could start heroine track after unwedding or they should have gone for Madhu's prem game.. and not a complete marriage.

Bold- I totally agree with that point.

I also started to watch the show from day one. I loved everything in the show and absolutely cherished DVD chemistry. Having experienced the actor in VD for the first time, I really loved him. I don't know about TRP audience or anybody else who watches madhubala for that matter. But I know that I hated the unwedding and even more them not closing the loop properly after the unwedding. I stopped watching it and started to follow it by reading WUs. people might have been intrigued by the unwedding drama and wanted to see where they are going to take it (and contributed to the increasing TRps for a while) but in my honest opinion they completely destroyed the whole love story at that point... . I still randomly follow the show by reading WUs but never ever went back to it as a loyal audience.

Shonu is somebody whom I love 😳for her sense of humor and hatke thoughts and that is why I chanced upon this thread...

agree shonu..infact I was excited about the upcoming story after the twist even I loved the denial stage after the unwedding upto sultan intro..the glorification of a cameo and demoralising the male lead led to the destruction of the show..and the step brother drama is the worst twist ever happened in the show..

I expected madhu's heroine track after the unwedding..how good would it be when madhu decides to beat the ego of a superstar by proving her successful in his own world..and misplaced wedding is not the thing liked by the audience...

You r right. Unwedding had much potential,but they just spoiled it.Specially introducing Sulthan character. Many trpaudience like mymom were intrested to that RK wala twist.but when sulthan character came into screen, she lost interested.
