Madhu's Pov

I sat on the window pane with a smile on my face. I was so happy. This feeling...its just so beautiful. And Rk..maybe I was already in love with him...but I didn't realize it before. Yes! I did had feelings for him...maybe I realized it today. I...I never thought that Rk' would confess his feeling for me. I mean...I am just so normal...and he is a superstar. I never expected him to say that he loves me.

A smile crept my lips as I thought about him. At first I had such wrong thoughts about him. I thought of him as a jerk. And I hated Trishna for letting him inside the house...but now, I wonder that if Trishna wouldn't have let him inside then he would have never been a part of my life. Trishna was like my cupid.

I walked upto her room and saw her sitting on a chair and reading something. I walked inside and stood behind her. She didn't seem to notice me. I peeked inside her book. Shit! She was studying. I had never seen her studying. Was I dreaming? I rubbed my eyes and blinked twice. I patted on her shoulder. She looked behind surprised and then smiled. I touched her forehead to check whether she had fewer. "What?" She asked scrunching her brows. "You are studying?" I asked gaping at her. "Yeah." She said casually.

"Why are you looking at me like this?" She asked. I shook my head and said "Uh...I don't know. Its just that the last time I saw you studying was when you were eight. After that...you books just disappeared." I said with a chuckle. She looked down and replied "I don't know. I just thought of being a good girl. I...I think that dad will be happy seeing me like this." She said with a smile. I looked at her and smiled. I bent down and sat on my knees. "Be like this Trish. I am proud of you...and so will be dad. He will be really happy. He always wanted this. And...he loves you...very much." I said. She smiled and nodded.

"So...how did you suddenly come here?" She asked. I smiled widely remembering the reason why I came here. She smiled at me and raised her brow. "I love RK." I blurted. "What?"She shouted. I smiled sheepishly and nodded. "I am so happy for you." She said hugging me. "Even I am." I said. "Finally...you found someone." She said. "Yeah. I always thought that I was boring...and no one will like me ...but Rk...he loves me." I said looking at her. "He loves you?" She asked shocked. I nodded blushing. "He proposed me today." I said looking down. "Shit! And you didn't tell me?" She asked with her eyes wide open. "It just happened today Trish. And I came to tell you as soon as I could." I said. She smiled. "So ..tell me...when are you marrying him huh?" She asked poking me. I gaped at her and then looked down blushing. I immediately got up and turned away so that she doesn't see me blushing. "Shut up Trish!" I said. "What? Don't tell me you aren't marrying him!" She said. "Of course I am!" I shouted as I turned to face her. "What?" She asked smiling cheekily. "I mean no...not so soon atleast." I said.

"Then when? When you get wrinkles? He will still look handsome...but you! You will look like a grandma." She said giggling. I glared at her with fake anger and then burst out laughing. "So tell me..how did he propose you? Was it romantic? Did you kiss?" She asked shocking me. "Shut up." I said and looked away blushing. "Ok Ok...Atleast tell me how your love story' started. You hated him, didn't you?" She asked. I nodded as I sat on her bed. "I hated him...he was just a head ache. I...I thought that he would be egoistic...I thought that he would have an attitude. But then ..he is just so opposite. He...he is caring..and so loving too. And he is a great friend." I said with a smile.

She smiled at me. "I never knew that you would do all these things secretively." She said smiling cheekily. I slightly slapped her on her cheek and she started laughing. "Ok...you study now. I will go." I said. She nodded. I was just near the door when she said " And don't forget to ask me about some love tips. I am always ready to advice." She said and started laughing. I looked at her and smiled shaking my head.

I walked inside my room as I thought about dad. Should I tell him? No...What will his reaction be like? What if he gets angry...or upset? No! I wont tell him...Maybe I will tell him about this after some time. Maybe that will be perfect. I laid down on the bed lazily closing my eyes. It was 10 in the night. I closed my eyes. I was so tired ...and sleepy. Soon sleep took over me and I drifted into a deep slumber.

The morning sunlight fell on my face and I tried to open my eyes. I yawned as I rubbed my eyes. I looked at the watch. Shit! It was 11:45. My eyes flew open and I rushed towards the washroom. After having a shower I rushed downstairs to make breakfast. Trishna will kill me now! She must be hungry! I was running towards the kitchen when I saw Trish and dad eating breakfast. I gaped at them. Did dad make breakfast? Shit! This is all because of me. I walked upto them and quietly took a seat beside Trish. I took a bite of the paratha and then bended towards Trishna's ear. "Did dad make breakfast?" I asked whispering as I chewed the paratha. "No...I made it." She whispered back. I started coughing!

What? Trish made this? No! This is...uh...impossible! That day...she! Dad passed me a glass of water. He was grinning...I smiled at him sheepishly. He knew the reason why I was chocking. I gulped the water in a go and looked at Trishna. "You made this?" I asked gaping. She nodded with a smile. "But then...that day, when Rk came here...you made such yuck food." I said. She chuckled and said "Google di...I browsed some recipes...and then I made this paratha." She said with a cute smile. I looked at the paratha. Uh...it didn't have any proper shape...it looked like a map. I chuckled. But the taste is good. I smiled looking at Trishna who was busy stuffing the paratha in her mouth. I slapped her on her cheek lightly and she giggled.

I hurriedly walked into my room after washing the dishes. I closed the door as I quickly called Rk. "Hey Madhu." He said picking up the call. I smiled. "You know what happened today?" I asked smiling widely. "What?" He asked. "Trishna...she made breakfast! Can you believe it?" I asked. "Shit! Are you fine Madhu?" He asked. I scrunched my brows. "Yeah...why?" I asked. "You sure you are fine? Like no stomach ache or vomiting?" He asked. "No Rk! I am perfectly fine." I said. "Listen Madhu, I bet there is something wrong. I am coming there, we will go to a doctor." He said. "No Rk! Are you insane? I shouted over the phone. "Madhu. The food cooked by Trishna! I mean..last time when I tasted it...it was just yuck!" He said. I giggled. "I know. But today's food was tasty." I said. "What? You mean that you liked that food...with that pathetic taste?" He asked. I let out a deep breath and said "Listen...I mean that..the food that she made today was really good. Because she browsed the recipe from net. And it was not like the food she cooked last time." I said. "But Madhu...Trishna made that breakfast. Trishna!" He said emphasizing on her name. I rolled my eyes and said "You know what? I am hanging up." I said. "What?" He shouted. I took a deep breath and hanged up on him.

Rk' s Pov

I sat on the kitchen counter as I waited for the cake to bake. Just then the bell rang and ran to open it. It must be Madhu. I invited her over for dinner. I gave all the servants a holiday today. I opened the door and there she stood wearing a baby pink dress which went up to her knees. I smiled at her and she smiled back. I moved aside for her to enter inside. "Wow! This place is so beautiful." She said looking around. I smiled at her. "You like it?" I asked. "I love it." She said looking at me. "What's that smell?" She suddenly asked. I scrunched my eyebrows as I tried to make out what she was talking about.

She walked towards the kitchen and I followed her. She slowly moved towards the oven and opened it. Smoke came out from inside. Shit! She looked at me and shook her head as I smiled sheepishly. "And what were you saying about Trish?" She asked smiling cheekily. I looked down as I smiled. "By the way...why were you making cake? Where's the main course?" she asked. I looked at her and said "Actually I just made this. I thought that desert is more important." I said casually. "You mean you didn't make anything else?" She asked gaping at me. I shrugged. "That means this burnt cake is all you have made." She asked. "Yeah." I said. She looked at me as if I were an alien. "What?" I asked. "That means I am gonna return back home without eating anything?" She asked gaping at me. "Uh...Actually I thought you would help me cooking." I said chuckling.

She glared at me as I smiled cheekily. She sat on the kitchen counter and I tried to read what she was thinking" So...start with cleaning the kitchen. I hate working in a mess." She said. I stared at her. "Are you ordering me?" I asked looking at her. "No...I am helping you. Did you expect me to run around in the kitchen making food?" She asked smirking. I shook my head and started cleaning the kitchen while she just looked at me work. She was enjoying me...it was clearly written on her face. After cleaning up0 everything, I picked up the knife and started cutting lettuce.

"What are you doing?" She asked getting down. "Making salad." I said while cutting the vegetables. "I hate salad." She said as she grabbed the knife from my hand. "DO you have paneer?" She asked looking at me. I nodded as I searched for paneer inside my fridge. I passed her the paneer as she started cutting them into cubes. "What are you making?" I asked. "We will barbeque this. I love it." She said with a cute smile as she continued cutting the paneer. I smiled looking at her. "Pass me salt." She said extending her hand. I looked at her as she moved about in the kitchen. I chuckled as I passed her the salt.

After about an hour, dinner was ready. She sighed as she sat on the counter, tired. I smiled at her...she looked adorable. Flour spread on her cheek...her hair all messed up. I don't know how she always manages to look so beautiful. I walked up to her and wiped the flour on the cheek. She gently laughed and closed her eyes. I gently kissed her cheek. I then picked her up in my arms and walked towards the living area. She started chuckling and so did I. "What are you doing?" She asked giggling. I smiled as I made her sit on the couch. "Sit here. I will serve dinner and bring it. I have already made you do enough work." I said chuckling as she smiled. I served us dinner and we sat on the couch eating dinner and watching tv at the same time.

We finished dinner and sat there watching tv. It was 9. Pretty late. She rested her head on my shoulder as she watched tv. I smiled as I scooped her in my arms. "I am so tired." She said as she looked at me. I kissed her forehead and said "Sorry. I guess I should have ordered something. That would have been better." She smiled. "That's ok." She said as she played with my fingers. "Its late. I guess I should leave now." She said disappointing me. I wish she could stay here forever. I nodded.

We were outside her house. I looked at her as she smiled at me. "Good night." She said sweetly. I smiled as she opened the door. "Madhu." I said and she turned to look at me. I slowly bent towards her and placed my lips on hers.
