As for the dimwitted pacifist lecture from the bhabhi, her argument ought to be included in the reasoning against capital punishment -
"Think of their innocent wives getting widowed, so don't execute the murdering husbands.
And with no execution to ever worry about, they can kill a few more innocents and get to sit in jail for a decade or two while their victims families endure the aftermath outside jail alongside."

Have been on a marathon viewing of MB since morning starting from the episode Raja regains his memory. Wasn't watching since January and didn't start watching even after VD returned to the show because I wasn't interested in seeing him as a kid. But now that VD is back as a man, I decided to check it out 😉

Okay, my observations -

- How pathetic was that AK guy? Such a bad actor! And ugly too. It was difficult to watch just one episode of him, wonder how so many of you managed to watch him for months!

- This Madhu is a wuss. Has got all of her mother's bad traits but not her hotness quotient. Whose idea was it to make her wear those hideous glasses? All her romantic/emotional scenes look ridiculous because of those too-big-for-her-face specs. And forgive me DD fans but she is overacting a lot.

- This Raja also comes nowhere close to RK's charisma. VD is trying a bit too hard to get into the skin of a rural guy (the actor playing his jija is doing it with ease). For all his killing-machine persona, Raja lacks the dangerous edge that RK had.

- The supporting cast is good but the characterisation is not upto the level of Deepali, Sikki and Bittooji.

So yes, I'm definitely interested again as a new love story is brewing between DVD and the story is also comparatively coherent than last year. However, this love story needs better chemistry. In their prime, RK-Madhu could set the screen on fire just by looking at each other. Raja-Rani have left me cold till now 😳

wonderful reviews friends . Visiting the forum after a long break. Watched yesterday's and today's episode.Surprisingly this village set up is not a turn off. Yet to grasp the story and relationships. a short review. A fit, handsome Vivian and a splendid performance..I like the set. a refreshing change from dharmasala😆 .. That bhabhi's gyan😕. the story is not clear to me. But the supporting cast is good. So yet another dark love hate story? JM's looks🤢. Vivian needs to tone down his accent.Don't want another KRK.

epi was very good but frankly speaking i am not liking the way raja,s character is shaping up..👎🏼..extremely rude.obsessive and kind of forced love on rani.👎🏼.which woman will like these kind of traits in her husband .and still love him. 😕..love is a mutual understanding and caring for each others pain too😔...i think he should set her free for some time and win her back with decent acts..😔 ..and also he wows never to change himself.😡.poor madhu..😭 all other scenes were good..did not enjoy ..hum hai deewane .today.😔.looked forced again.how can he be normal after giving her so much pain..😕.hope raja,s character softens and he realises madhu,s pain too.😔.though vd is exceptionally brilliant as raja👏 and dd as rani..👏cvs,,please grey hero is tolerable but not anti hero..😔

completely agree with you regarding VD n DD

this village setup is good..story is crisp..screenplay n editing is tight..supporting cast is doing a great job n everybody has a role to play unlike standing in the Bg like Kukku n Sikki..so in that department the new PH is utilizing the actors well (though I also want them to give nice role to Gotti..him they are quite wasting). So there is enough to keep me hooked n wait for the next episode.

But what's lacking is..first of all please somebody throw those hideous glasses I miss seeing her pretty eyes except that DD is doing a great job initially she was OTT (in AK's track) but now she has sunk her teeth into it n I'm loving her..and secondly VD's accent, in some scenes it looks he is trying too hard..Like CR said Bhannu looks quite effortless, in VD's case in some scenes the effort is visible on screen..So I really want him to tone it down a bit..but aggression he is portraying really well..like the strangling scene or in yesterday's slap scene.

n special mention to the screenplay writer..He is doing a great job scenes are really beautiful n leave an impact even the ones without DVD👏

also characterization is nice everybody is in charater..I liked it that yesterday even after Phaguni Bhabhi's lecture Raja din regret killing that man he declared that He is right & He is never going to change, also after slapping JM though he regretted slapping her but also made it clear that it was her fault, that she shouldn't interfere when he is angry..That is him very flawed..He is wrong but that's his character.

Yesterday one thing that irked me was JM calling that man masoom what does she know about him to call him masoom just because he was being beaten up by Raja the janwar, he becomes masoom..that was a stupid dialogue not needed.

ETA : I'm liking the new dialogue writer..but still I'm missing VD's one liners..please Mr Writer take a note give him nice one liners(not in Dehati dialect)...dialogue delivery is his strength please utilize it!!!

I know it was really controversial, many discussions have taken place, but in my case, I don't take anybody's side, each character in the show was presenting things only from their own point of view, according to what they lived, what they went through and what they experienced in life, none is absolutely wrong and none is absolutely right, here as a story of individuals we can't blame anyone, or judge anyone, different journeys, different types of pain, and different sets of principles..

The most important thing is that the story is gripping, and the story afterall is the real hero, this story shows us flawed individuals with different expectations from life, different goals, and different motives for what they say, or do

Feelings are something we can't control, a feeling can't be right or wrong, it's just a feeling, what Raja feels, what Madhu feels, what Farguni feels, what Agni feels, what Bhanu feels...

Raja feels the need to avenge his parents, ha has been going through a lot of pain during these 13 years, his Tauji teached him only one way of solving things, so is his pain wrong not but the way he deals with it is

Madhu : She can't adjust with this situation, she is not used to this violence, she feels unhappy and frustrated, she mistreats Raja, but can we say that her feelings are wrong, No, she has all the right to agree or to disagree, she feels scared and she wants to run away, can we blame her..

Farguni : she spent many years being tortured, mistreated by her family and in laws, of course she feels sad for her husband's murder, but is that her main concern now, she is agonising, for 13 years she has been going through a lot of pain, the killer getting punished might give her some solace, but we can't expect her to be happy as the real justice hasn"t been fulfilled yet, she has to be understood, the tag of upshaguni should be removed and she should get into a psychological treatment to get rid of the scars that 13 years of torture has left in her soul, can we blame her because she was seeing things only from one angle! No we can't because simply this is what she feels now, maybe if she was well treated and she just came to know that her husband's murderer has been caught then she might feel better

Agni : She is jealous, but can we blame her, she is the real daughter of Tauji, she thinks her dad cares about Raja more than her and she feels he is getting what belonges to her by right, her ways are very wrong of course, she is a vamp, but her feelings can be justified

Bhanu : He is the villain yes, but if we see things from his angle, he worked for 13 years, Tauji was proud of him and considered him for many years as his right hand so from his point of view he deserves this more than Raja, he attempted to kill Raja and that's wrong but can we say that his feelings are wrong, I don't think so

Tauji : He wants the best to take his place, he feels this need to keep his empire going on, he is biased to Raja as he is his blood, and now he even wants both Raja and Bhanu to compete to get the throne

Feelings are only feelings, even if some feelings can be destructive or lead you to commit a wrong deed, but when it's your feeling that guides you, it's something that makes you uncomfortable, makes you suffer, and each one looks for a way to get rid of their pain, the way can be wrong or right
