TG for that...but the show has a long way to go in terms of TRPs.
And it was stable despite cricket, including India in the finals. Which is a tougher situation than the week before that.
Anyway I was switching channels for most of AK/Kapoors scenes through the week, so didn't really think the suave villain and his revenge explanations was going to be an irresistible inducement to watch for anyone who hadn't been inclined to watch the previous weeks.

If the track avoids the malaise of backsliding by 2nd week at latest that plagued the series for so many months pre-leap, the viewership will stabilize and increase fine.

a very astute observation...and indeed if the TRPs for this track doesn't decline any further it can only go in the opp direction henceforth.

But since that basic step has been flubbed in consecutive tracks, it's the only worry.
Hopefully the channel and PH stick to the point and don't go halfhearted in the face of rumours and sources.

NF's history has seen quick action(and not always for the best) when the TRPs for any particular track had slid markedly...but repairing the damage in an inconclusive manner hasn't always worked rather fetched results to the contrary.

And if TRP doesn't rise for 'Raju', we get 'Right Kameena' back. Many would prefer the latter happening the sooner the better, rather than the "couple oppressed under adversary's roof" situation that's ongoing.

yep...right kameena may be brought back sooner than we thought but to what end?won't the general TRP audience find VD in the same character repetitive?

Today's episode was cuteness personified from the start to the end😃. Absolutely loved the bond strengthening between Raju and JM.

The symbolism I took from the episode -

• Raju's life will kick start with Madhu's help, just like he was only able to start his car when JM instructed him to...😃

Wow.. that was superb... that what now JM gonna do.. she will get to know about his past and it can kick start his life from where its stopped...😳

• Awww...he tore the pic and kept Gudiya's pic with himself. Gudiya is already too precious to him and he will take care of her while she takes care of him...😳

that was soo sweet na.. the symbolism i found was differnt.. even if they are seperated then are gonna remain near to their heart.. and the way JM used the pic to find him.. they will unite again with the love in their heart...😳

• Buying a balloon and that too for his Gudiya...hope to see him bring happiness to JM's life by making things happen for her...😃

Note the point not just a balloon.. he want to buy a RED balloon. color of love n Passion..😳

• Raju let go of his jump for his hero for tending to Gudiya. How long will AK hold sway over Raju at this rate?...😆

Yes.. now he has started beleiving his Gudiya.. and for her he had posponded his Jumping stunt...😆

• If Gudiya needs help, Raju will be there to help her and make it happen. He was quite the knight in shining armor in bringing water to revive her...😳

So true. he indeed looked like a knight in shining armor anything for his Gudiya...😃

Other reasons to love the episode - a different outdoor shoot in the daylight and no annoying Kapoor clan to deal with. Yes, a definite watch today...👏

As for repetitive, every successful track has been done at least a few times in the past decade or two.
Any track that hasn't been tried at all may presumably be assured of extremely adverse reaction by mass-viewership.
If mass-audience very much like a track, they will even accept the same exact basic track every year in different serial each time if they adequately love the actors and the pairing that the track is woven around in the different versions.
Rather like fairytales which are the same and extraordinarily cliched, but presented in a mass-appealing way, they are usually well enough in many versions, and different people may have their own favoured version of each.

but then there are serials which have ventured into uncharted territories like DABH and are scoring so high in TRP charts consistently since its launch! i agree that tried and tested storylines work but never hugely successful unless there's something novel to it,for example all the top shows revolve around family drama...albeit presented in a diff way in each show.Love/hate stories however never top daily show leagues because it doesn't appeal to all sensibilities.

So long as DVD are liked in the new context, the track is not assured of being disinteresting or distasteful to majority-audience's conservative sensibilities, and the storyline has the sense to keep them together, there will be no problem.

yep...it's liking them in their new avatars,which follow so close on the heels of their previous ones,will determine the length of time for which the show will stay on air...because by bringing back VD,AS has played his trump card...if this doesn't work...doubt anything else will.

Anything repititive or even boring should be fine, so long as it's in the mass-pleasing packaging of couple-together and no 'unique' tracks that mass-audience have no interest in and would switch channels to get away from the 'different' of. Just hoping this time the channel and PH manage this very straightforward criteria unlike for over a year. :)

expectations are high with so much at stake...hopefully we won't be disappointed 😊
