Simran, Sony is a weird case. There was a time till 2000s when they truly were doing Urban and modern tinged shows. But then again you could say that about a lot of shows on a lot of channels.

But yeah, Sony was a leader back then when TV was geared more to Urban audience.

Now though, it seems to me they are confused. Like it's still Urban and modern in some aspects but then at the same time they feel the need to not go too far. It's weird--and it could be the production houses as well who are the culprits--it's like they are not steadfast.

As for different/fresh concepts and not dragging it. I agree that they do start out with fresh concepts, but then they go through a period where they play the TRP game, and not very well. Then it keeps going...till it ends. It's like a see-saw and finally the plug is pulled.

Man but some original BG music would have helped us a bit. But what am I doing forming an antithesis. Original and Nautanki Films! Bahahaha 😆 If there was anything original about this it was Mahay!
